     The sound of the bell from the Cafe Pothos alerting the arrival of a new customer makes Hikari's head turns from wiping the table towards the door to welcome the customer

"Hi, Welcome to Cafe Pothos" she said while looking at the customer with the black and white hair who had just walked into the cafe.

"Uhm, who are you? Where's Kotoha?"

Okay, wow this guy just walked in and interrogates me I swear if he is Kotoha secret boyfriend I'm telling Umemiya

"Oh well shes-"

"Back here!" Eh nevermind

"Ah Sakura, here are your usual coffee and sandwiches" she said while giving him a tray filled with sliced fruit sandwiches and a cup of coffee

The guy called Sakura sat down and took a sip of his coffee while looking at me "So? who are you?"

Due to his rudeness I dont feel like answering honestly like would it kill ya to smile?

"Y'know someone told me you shouldn't tell your name to a stranger unless they told theirs" I can sense he got irritated due to his eyes twitching and his face flaring up

"Sakura.."

"Where?"  I said looking outside the window thinking suddenly maybe this awkward tension in here suddenly changes the season from summer to spring in no time

"HA? No, dummy my name is Sakura Haruka" He said standing up hitting the table while his cheeks heating up, honestly he is so pale the blush is so obvious I kinda find it cute

"Who?"

"Hah I've just said its-"

" Who asked?" I can't help but teasing him more, maybe if I irritated him enough he would turn into a tomato

"YOU- YOU WANNA GO? LET'S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE"   He said standing up pointing to the door honestly this guy isn't even scary I find my little brother scarier when I hid his toys.

I couldn't help but let out a chuckle
"C'mon Hikari stop bullying him" said Kotoha coming to the front.

"Sorry, his reactions are just so funny since hes a Bofurin I thought he is fun to mess with like Umemiya" I said still trying to hold back my laugh

"Aoki..Aoki Hikari nice to meet you Sakura-kun, I'm Kotoha-chan's friend and her co-worker starting today" Giving my biggest smile since he is Kotoha's acquintance

"N-Nice to meet you" He said looking away while his ears turning red

Seriously, how can a guy blush so easily..

"So.. are you Kotoha-chan's boyfriend?" I said excitedly its not my fault for being a busybody this gurl never tells me anything about her love life

This dude legit spits his coffee on the damn table I've just cleaned luckily it didn't get on me do any of you know how hard is it to clean coffee stains on clothes?!

"Ah..I've just cleaned that" handing him a towel to wipe his mouth and wiping the table again

"S-sorry but it's your fault who the heck told you we were d-dating" he said still wiping his mouth even with the towel I can tell he is still red

I looked at Kotoha who were on the ground laughing at my remarks "HEY KOTOHA-CHAN IS CUTE WHY NOT" slightly glaring at him sheesh the disrespect my Kotoha is the cutest girl in this town whom makes the best coffee

"COZ NO YOU WANT ME TO GET KILLED BY MY LEADER?"

oh..right Umemiya and his siscom issues good thing he passed the phase from me but jeez..poor Kotoha maybe i should set her on a blind date to piss Umemiya.

I slightly nodded understanding what he means.

"Well that part you're not wrong" I know Umemiya wont actually kill him ..maybe.. but he is protective of us more to Kotoha ..lucky for me.

"Hey, Ive never seen you before though. You just moved here?" he said eyeing me

"Well..now you do I've moved back here with my family last week and thought since Kotoha is alone I'll help her out here"

"You new too right I've never seen you before when I was a kid"

"Yeah, I came here because I wanted to be the top at Furin" he said proudly..shesh I hope Sugishita didnt hear this

"Hm" i said slightly bowing although he is still sitting he is quite tall so I don't have to bow much to make an eye level contact

"W-what? You wanna go?" he said lifting his fist

"Nah, I'll pass its just that your eyes"

I don't know why but he is definitely pissed I mentioned that casually like I'm insulting him coz damn this guy is frowning so much

"What's with them." Glaring up at me

I lifted his chin and closing the distance to keep the eye contact so I can look clearly into his eyes

"Hm, you have heterochromia huh..its beautiful"

Oh no..I think I broke him..He's not responding..Shit what do I do.. Wait I think hes actually redder than before- That can happen?

"Uhm..sakura-kun? you okay?"

He almost fell down from the chair backing up from the contact we've made shesh its still early why is he so worked up

"HA WHAT? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU? ARE YOU MAD? PEOPLE USUALLY FIND IT STRANGE AND DISGUSTED BY IT"

"Really?" Ive looked at Kotoha for confirmation

"I dont think so, Hikari you still courageous huh" she replied giggling seeing the scene unfold infront of her

I just ignored her remarks because its just me being me. I'm just full of curiousity and you don't see people with heterochromia everyday.

"Well this town is weird they don't treat me with disgust and welcomed me even though..I looked like this" He scoffs

"My last 16 years has been filled with people disgusted and avoiding me because of these" pointing to his hair and eyes

"Tsk tsk such old-fashioned people"

"Hah?" He sounds so confused with my remarks

"What? You're beautiful, just because your hair and eyes are different, our blood still the same colour we humans. If everyone is the same its boring. Unique traits like yours makes life more wonderful and fun dont you think?"

Life more wonderful and fun..because of me? People avoided me most of my life..although after coming here I've been accepted by the town's people and the guys at school.

I took her words into account and thought about it for a long time

"Thanks for the food I'm going to go to school" he said standing up looking away from the two girls.

Hes a weird kid but he looks like a nice person eh-

"Uhm, Kotoha-chan why are you grinning at me like that? You're scaring me"

"Hm, nothing~ Just because"

I tilt my head to the side questioningly but just leaves it at that.
