Sebastian and Ash have known each other for centuries. They never got along, but are attracted to one another. One day, Queen Victoria decided to send Ash to the Phantomhive Manor to observe how Ciel and his servants live. Ash is told to stay at the Phantomhive Estate for 3 months, observing the Young Earl and his servants living style.

Sebastian is in the kitchen cooking the young Earl's dinner when he hears a knock on the kitchen door. Sebastian dusted the flour off his gloves and strode to the door, opening it with a professional smile like he always did. To the butlers surprise, the angel that he used to have an affair with was standing outside the door with a wicked smile on his face.

"Ah, it's my favorite sinner. Long time no see," The smaller male said teasingly, licking his lips discreetly.

Sebastian sighed and pinched his nose "great, now I have to deal with another fool,"  Sebastian thought. The demon stood to the side so the angel could walk in, then closed the door behind Ash and spoke in a professional tone. "Mr. Landers, what brings you to the Phantomhive Manor?" the Phantomhive butler asked with a fake smile to conceal his annoyance.

Ash grins, rolling his eyes at Sebastian's professional tone. He loved to annoy Sebastian, and could tell the demon was already slightly aggravated by his presence. "Her majesty, Victoria sent me here. I'm supposed to be observing how the Earl Ciel Phantomhive and his staff live. I'm going to be staying here for three months." Ash smirked.

"Three months? Sounds delightful!" Sebastian said loudly with a forced smile, exaggerating the word 'delightful' so Ash knew he was being sarcastic. If anything, spending three months with the angel was going to be anything but delightful.

Ash chuckled at Sebastian's response. He could tell the demon was not pleased with her majesty's orders. Ash knew very well that Sebastian never liked him. He also knew that Sebastian was secretly attracted to him, and he found it amusing. Ash smirked and replied in a sarcastic tone. "Oh, come now. I know you're just as delighted as I am, my demonic friend."

"We aren't friends." The demon said softly with a hint of annoyance, then strode back to the kitchen counter and began to work on supper again. "The others are off doing their evening chores. You should go inform the Young Master of your stay, then you can introduce yourself to the other staff during supper."

Ash smirked at Sebastian's reply. He enjoyed getting under the demon's skin. He followed Sebastian as the demon headed to the counter and started working on supper. Ash rolled his eyes at Sebastian's order, but followed it anyway. He made his way upstairs to find the young Earl, Ciel.

Sorry that the first chapter is so short. I've been having a busy summer and don't have enough time to write a full chapter like I wanted to.
