As people go around the market, Nate announces on the news, "After's yesterday's vicious attack on the Institute, our knights have redoubled their efforts in the manhunt of the villain Ballister."
Bal peeks out from a tunnel to see where he is with a cloak draped over him. He sighs once he sees that he's in the clear and motions Areli to follow him as he whispers, "Okay. We just have to get to the market and find the squire without drawing any at-" Nimona suddenly jumps down on a pile of trash nearby as a cat, knocking everything away. Bal quickly shushes the cat. "Be quiet!" He hisses. Nimona holds up a bean from her paw as she speaks in a normal tone.

"Counterpoint. Your plan sucks, and it's boring." She notices a mouse and catches it as she said, "Where's the drama? The scream of terror?" She goes to eat the mouse, but it slips from her and she glares at it. "We're villains. Embrace it!" As Nimona chases the mouse, Bal shakes his head furiously.

"No. We are doing things my way this time. No one gets hurt." This makes Nimona roll her eyes and said, "I was going for the hurting people version." Bal sighs and pulls out a picture of the squire before saying, "We find the squire and question him." Nimona swiftly cuts the photo with her claws and said, "Then hurt him." Bal continues to insist, "No, and then find the proof," Nimona smirks at him. "By hurting him."

Bal clenches his fingers facing up and his cheeks puff out in anger before saying, "No! Can we just get to the market, please?" Nimona transforms back into a person and salutes him. "Roger that." At that, dragon wings sprout from her back and she picks up Areli and goes to take off, "Next flight leaves in three..." Bal rushes after her, panicking. "No! What are you doing?!" He gets in front of Nimona, holding his cape up in front of her to keep sight of her from other people.

He notices he's in front of a man and said, "Uh- boo! I'm a ghost. Hehehe." He laughs nervously as the man walks away. Bal quickly turns back to Nimona and said, "I cannot be seen with that!" Nimona swiftly slaps him before pointing at her scaled wings, saying, "This is quality sidekicking stuff." Bal glares at her and points out, "It's too much." Nimona groans at this and said, "Oh, unclench your mustache. What's the worst that could happen?"

Alarms start to blare and the screens show a warning sign. "Monster attack. Monster attack. Seek immediate shelter." People pull out their phones to look at what's going on. A viewing of the director shows up to replace the warning signs as she spoke, "Citizens of the realm, hello. In light of yesterday's horrific attack on the Institute, we are taking every precaution to keep you safe."
A blaster on the wall rises. "Please do not be alarmed. This is only a test."

The director assures them, "Go about your normal lives and rest assured that the Institute has this situation well in hand. Good day and may Gloreth guide you always." As the video ends, a few knights walk around the crowd. "Do not be alarmed. Please remain calm. This is only a test." The knight tells the people as they walk by. Nimona watches them with arms crossed. She opens her mouth and lifts her chin a bit higher.

"Oh! A don't be alarmed alarm. Effective." She said as she looks at the knights with an unamused look, her fangs peeking out and Areli peeking out from behind the pink wing. Bal looks over at the girls and asked, "Don't you get it? The second we let our guard down, something terrible comes over that wall." "Have you ever been outside the wall?" Nimona counters and Bal replies with sarcasm, "Yeah, 'cause I have a death wish."

"No! No one has!" Nimona smirks at Bal and said, "So maybe there's nothing there?" "You know what? We're going underground. Without the wings." Bal pulls his hood down and rushes to the entrance as Nimona puts them away. "Aw."

Areli said, disappointed. "You're gonna want 'em later." She tells him as Areli puts on her hood and follows the knight. Nimona walks behind them, pulling out a piece of a small ride a kid was playing with, making it stop and the boy cry. Once the three reach the escalator down to the train, Nimona notices a wanted poster of her, Bal, and Areli and happily shouts. "Whoa! We're famous!" Bal sees this and looks down.

"You've got to be kidding me." He muttered as Areli and Nimona stare at the pictures of them as they go down the stairs. The human looks at the ground and his eyes widen when a knight is watching people getting in and out and having one take his cloak off to see his face. He quickly looks at the top where two knights are talking with each other as one knight said, "So then an otter comes around the corner, and it bit me." He shows his casted arm. The other knight holds the chin of his helmet as he asks, "A sea otter or river otter?" The first one blows up at this, "Are you kidding? Does it matter? It bit me!"

The second shrugs at this and explains, "There's significant anatomical differences between the two." Bal slowly turns back and whispers to the girls, "We're never gonna make it on that train without them seeing us. We need a distraction." The crazy grin returns to Nimona but as she was about to speak, Areli ask, "I'm not experienced with distractions, but maybe I can try?" Bal  thinks for a moment and said, "Fine, but dial it down. Something inconspicuous and discreet, like-" Nimonais quick to interrupt, "Um, Boss? She's gone." Bal took notice that Areli is gone and said, "Of course she is."

Cackling is heard in the tunnel and people begin running. "The queen killer!" One of them screams. A hooded figure reveals themselves as a Ballister look-a-like with fangs, monster arm and purple eyes. "If you see something, slay something!" He says, in a bravado stance. "It's Ballister Boldheart!" He shouts, scaring many people.

As Bal is in shock, he does not get off the escalator and is pressed onto the knight, while Nimona watched the copy with a grin. The copy of Bal looks at the oncoming smile hunched down like he was about to pounce and said, "Yaah! I'm evil, and I hate everybody!" He picks up a teddy bear and rips its head off. He then pulls up his hood and gives puppy dog eyes right at the actual Bal before saying, "Not as much as I hate myself. Can somebody give me a hug?" Bal glowers at this and the copy jumps back to shouting off, "Baah! I hate smiles!"

A clamor of knights pushes past Bal and Nimona, heading straight for the copy. As this goes on, Bal quickly gets them behind a pole to watch the knights surround the copy. The copy of Bal picks up a nearby trashcan and throws trash at the knights as he said, "Look at this! I'm loitering, and I'm littering!" He knocks a few people away with the can and stuffs it on top of one and kicks it away, knocking the stuck knight into the others behind them. The copy sees a saxophone and picks it up before saying, "I hope you all like freestyle jazz!" He plays random notes and leads the knights up the escalator, who all stumble after him. Bal looks down the empty tunnel as the train arrives.

Areli slides down the escalator as a black rat, Nimona chuckling to herself and changed herself into a pink rat like Areli. "Our chariot awaits." She says as she takes a fresh pizza box Areli snagged somewhere. Bal looks down at the black rat and questioned, "What was that? And you never said you could turn into me like Nimona." Nimona perks up at this and said, "By the way, kid can turn into you like I do." He angrily shoves the doors open to get in as he glares at the two and said, "Well, for the record, that is nothing like me." Nimona laughs as the train takes off before saying, "You're right. You're never that much fun."

Meanwhile, people are at computers examining everyone in the city in hopes to find Bal. A woman shoots up from her chair, shouting excitedly, "We found him!" She pulls up the footage of the copy of Bal for Ambrosius, the director, and Todd to see.
Todd gets pumped up at this and said, "All right, let's go. Let's get this gutter punk." Ambrosius narrows his eves at this. "Wait. Let it play." He said as everybody stopped to look at the screen again.

It shows the part where Bal was running up the stairs playing the Sax. "Something doesn't feel right. He hates freestyle jazz." Ambrosious said as Todd rolls his eyes at this, "You're letting him get away." Ambrosius ignores him and said, "Keep playing." The tape goes on to show the actual Bal peeking out from a pillar with a pink rat on his shoulder. Ambrosius's eyes light up and said, "There." It then shows Bal and the two rats, one pink and the other black getting on the train.

"Where's that train headed?" The blonde asks. The woman looks at the routes and turns to him, saying, "That's the express to the market. Arrives in six minutes." Ambrosius straightens up. "And we'll be there to meet him." He says, smiling, secretly happy that he'll be seeing him. He smirks at Todd, nodding his head at him. "Now we go after him."

He says smugly before walking out with the knights following. "Everyone to the market." As the knights follow, Todd speaks in a mocking tone. "Everyone to the market. I'm a dork, and my hair smells like lavender." As everyone left to the market, the Director looks at the rats, finding it odd to see a pink rat until her eyes met the black rat with a deformed arm. She thought that she's seen someone with the same arm before.
