Chapter 12

Three years later

Lizzie's POV

I was currently making lunch for me and Dom, I head to our work office to give him his lunch. When I came in, I see him looking at a contract.

"What the contract for?" I ask him.

"A contract for WWE" he said.

I look at him in shock.

"I thought you still have contract with AEW?" I said.

"It's almost up and I feel like they don't need me" He say.

"Oh" I said.

He nodded.

"Then why are you afraid of signing with the WWE" I say.

"I'm afraid if they don't use me at my full potential and that the reason I left in the first place I build myself to become who I am" he says.

I nodded and gave him a hug. Once we end the hug, I tell him something.

"Whatever you decided, I will support. I love you" I said to him.

I see his face and almost crying.

"I love you too" He say back giving me a kiss.

We spent the day by cleaning the house, making foods, relaxing on the couch and watching some movies like Lost In Translation & Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and watching some sitcoms. The next day happens, I'm with my mom who still lives in the same area and we talk about life and what going on.

"So how's Dom doing?" My mom asks me.

"He's doing great, he is nervous about leaving AEW and is thinking about going back to the WWE again" I said to her.

"Why is he nervous" My mom say.

"He afraid that they will mess up his potential and I told him that no matter what, I will support him" I said.

My mom nodded.

"Well he should know that you are not only one supporting him. He has his family and us" She said.

I just kept smiling after what she just said. We kept hugging for about 15 minutes. We ended the hug and continued the day.

Dom's POV

I was chilling on the couch with Pharaoh, I heard Lizzie's voice at the front door of the house. She come in the living room where I was. Then she tells me something.

"I know that you are afraid of accepting the contract from The WWE but I'm wanna tell you that you not alone. Me, my family, your family and our friends will support whatever decision you make" She say to me in passionate speech.

I get up from the couch and give her a hug.

"I accepted it" I whispered to her ear.

I pull away from the hug and give him a worried look.

"Are you sure about this" I said to him.

He nodded.

"I'm 100%" I say back.

I smiled and giving him a kiss. I look at his eyes and sees that he is a little tired and hungry.

"Are you hungry, babe" I say to him.

"Yeah, I'm kinda of hungry" He said.

I go to the kitchen to make some dinner. I make a Cuban sandwiches that he told me during the pandemic. I give him a plate and he was in shock. I smiled at his reaction because every time we have Cuban sandwiches, he makes it. Whenever he gone, I secretly learn how to make from his mom. He takes a bit from the sandwich and was in love with it.

"It's tastes like my mom make it" he say.

"I actually called your mom the other day and she teach me how to make it the way she does" I said.

He smiled.

"You are the best wife I ever had" he say.

I laughed at his reaction. I come close to him and give him a kiss.

"Love you too" I said.

I sat back as we continued eating the sandwiches. After that, we just relaxed until we took Pharaoh out for a walk. Once we come back to the house, we see MK, Ashley, my mom the rest of Lizzie's family surprise us.

"What is this?" I asked them.

"Well if you are going to sign that contract for WWE, we will be support your decision" MK say.

I smiled and gave them all a hug.

"I love you guys" I say and looking back at Lizzie who is smiling.

"And I love you the most all, Lizzie" I said to her giving her a hug.

I'm so lucky to have these people in my life.
