Chapter Five: So Highschool

When I was younger I always made Robby watch those princess shows. Where the girl always ends up with the guy who was her first kiss. I remember I used to tell Robby how I wanted a prince for myself, but then my mom would walk in with her whole "men ain't shit" attitude and crush that dream.

I really hope I'm not getting in over my head with the boy in front of me.

"Anthony?" I ask as I brace my arms on the counter and try not to be embarrassed by my outfit. I'm wearing ripped jeans and a tank top with ratty hair pulled into a bun and my apron on.

"What are you doing here?" I ignore the rest of the customers around him as I look at him. The shop has been buzzing since its sunday morning and people are off to church and nursing hang-overs with coffee.

"I-uh-I...coffee?"

I let out a giggle but quickly covered my mouth, did I just giggle?

"Yeah, yeah totally...just come to the back." I say suggestively with a slight smirk and he quickly goes red and nods his head frantically.

I am now in my gi at Cobra Kai practicing with the Dojo after my make-out sesh with Anthony in the storage room.

I can't stop smiling, I'm seeing him again at the shack tonight.

Kyler just took down another student and exaggeratedly yelled "that's right!"

"Good job Mr. Park" Kreese says and Kyler flexes his barely there arm muscles.

"That's right, do that all day!" No Kyler, you don't. I hear the bell from the door ring and watch as Kenny walks in.

"Look who's back for more." Tory whispers to Robby and Robby looks at me. I glare at him then roll my eyes and look back at Kenny.

"I want another shot." Kenny says, the kid grew some balls that's for sure.

"I'm sorry. I dont have the time to teach weaklings."

"Give him another chance, Sensei. Maybe he'll surprise you." Robby says and he and Kenny share a nod. I feel Robby look at me but I stare straight ahead.

"Alright. Mr. Park makes this quick."

"You got it sensei." Kyler says and walks to the center of the mat and Kenny does the same after taking off his shoes. Nice shoes too, Jordans.

"Ais!" Kyler goes to kick Kenny again and Kenny backs away, yet again. Kyler laughs and Robby looks down at his feet.

"Look at him, running to mommy. Bye, you little bitch." Kyler says, which makes the boys in the dojo laugh. Kenny doesn't leave though, Kenny does the opposite and speedily lunges at Kyler and punches him in the face with a grunt.

"Kids fast." Tory comments and Kyler looks up angrily. "What the hell, he hit me when I wasn't looking. That's some bullshit." Kyler whines.

"You're right. He didn't line up. So that won't count as a point." Sensei says and I could already tell Kenny was a cobra now.

"Sorry I-I didn't know the rules."

"That was your one chance." Sensei says and Kenny looks down and with a sigh he starts to walk to the door.

"Where are you going Mr. Payne." Sensei pauses and looks at me. I nod subtly and he looks at robby, to which robby does the same as me. "Take your spot."

After training I change and slide into my shoes and Kenny sits down next to me to slide on his shoes as well.
