"Divorce her." Karan says and throws a file on my desk.
I stare at him, unmoving, and a bitter laugh escapes me, almost hysterical. I shake my head, my eyes stinging as he watches in silence while I compose myself, taking a few steadying breaths.
Once I calmed myself, I direct him an eviserating glare, "Impossible. Now get out." I show my arm towards the exit.
"But you didn't hear the full story." He smirks and gestures at the file he threw on the table, "Open it."
I stare at him contemplating on what he's planning. Whatever it is, it won't be good.
"You don't want to see your wife sad, do you?" He asks in a mock worry expression.
I grab the file from the desk and open it giving him a glare. What I see inside stops my world completely.
"Property ownership?" I read in a whisper as a headache forms in my temples.
"Hope institution." Karan gets up from his chair and buttons his suit, "Not so hopeful now!" He laughs with a sly satisfaction.
My heart drops as he smiles at me victoriously.
How did he get this? It was Yuvraj Singhania's property.
"The orphanage." My mouth is dry as a desert. Everything is going down infront of my eyes and yet I can't do anything about it.
"You see, Yuvraj Singhania is a real estate businessman so when I offered a good amount of money on this deal he accepted it." He states wih a triumphant glint all over his face as he notices me being helpless.
"What are you planning?" I clench my jaw as I throw the file on the table.
"Oh, it's nothing big." His eyes glimmers maliciously, "I am just going to declare my rights and evict all the children from my property."

My Heer will be devastated.
"You can't do that." I grit out, "The property is not yet signed. I am going to talk to Singhania and buy it myself." I say as a shred of hope blooms in my chest at the idea.
I never knew he was planning on selling it, if not I would have done it way before this demon got his claws on it.
"I would like to see you try." He laughs condescendingly, "If you must know one thing, it is that Yuvraj Singhania never goes back on his promises and he has agreed to give this to me."
