First day, First crush.

I opened my eyes at the sound of my mom yelling at me to wake up. Why do I need to be woken up at 6:30 am?! Oh wait, today was the first day of sch- "ALYSSA GET IN THE SHOWER NOW" ool. I sighed. "Coming, coming." I rushed to the bathroom to get showered. Once I was done, I quickly threw on a Fall out boy tank top, short shorts, and my white vans. I quickly straightened my hair and put on a pink and blue flower crown. I walked downstairs and got myself some toast. "Ready for the first day of school, Lyssa?" My mum asked nicely. I munched on my toast and nodded.  "I'm actually kind of excited!" I said, smiling. "Well, hurry so we can go to your school!" My mum exclaimed. I chuckled in response. "Mum, school starts in 10 mins, I can walk, I take 5 minutes walking" I said smiling. "Alright hun, hurry then!" She smiled. I got my backpack and quickly walked out the door, finishing my toast while walking. I entered the school and went to the office to get my schedule. Alright, Maths at 7:00 am, Science at 8:00 am, Biology at 9 am, Music at 10, Lunch at 11 am to 12 pm, then Social Studies at 1-2 pm, and finally, Gym at 3 pm. I looked at my phone and saw thatit was 6:45 am. I checked my schedule to see where matn was, and it was at room E45, I walked to my locker and put the combination in. I threw my backpack in there and walked to class at about 6:55. I saw a few kids there, maybe 5 guys and 6 girls. I wonder what classes my friends have? I sat next to a girl wearing a gray tank top with jeans and black vans with curled hair. She looked at me and smiled "Hello!" She said cheerily. "Hiya" I said smiling. "What's your name?" She smiled. "I'm Alyssa, and you?" I said. "Melanie. Nice to meet you!" She smiled. We talked for 4 minutes until class started. All the classes were boring, but I found out my friends, Katelyn and Maya, were in 2 of my classes! It was the last class of the day, gym, we had to do a choreography to any song that is not inappropriate. Katelyn, Maya, and I decided to do "I really don't care" by Demi Lovato. It was time to present what we had and we only had 3 eight-counts. The first person to go up was this guy named Michael. Holy shitballs he was cute. He had brown messy hair and amazing blue eyes. He was dancing "Love never felt so good" by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. I dazed off into LaLa land as I stared at him. He was dancing just like Michael Jackson. After all of us performed, we lined up and got our stuff and went to our homeroom for stupid homework, then finally going home. "Oi Lyssa, why were you staring at that "Michael" kid as if he was a chocolate bar ?" Katelyn asked laughing. "Shut up" I said blushing. I walked home and saw my mom sitting on the couch. "How'd the first day go, honey?"  She asked smiling warmly. I smiled "Great. I think I already have a crush." I said, blushing lightly.
