Eloise left the apartment building, letting the sun shine upon her. She squinted her eyes and lowered her head. While she tried to ignore the sunlight, she scanned around the empty street for the car. Suddenly, the tiny white car slowly drove towards her. "Get in, what are you waiting for!" Her father shouted as he rolled down the window. Eloise bit her tongue, walking over to the car and getting in. In silence, she put on her belt. She could already sense that they were so close to shouting at her. The moment she put on her belt they started driving.

Eloise could only stare out of the window in pure confusion. She didn't know where they were going, hence they wouldn't utter a word about where they were taking her. Half of the car ride was in silence. The surroundings were getting less city like, and they drove past barns, woods and houses. As they drove through the woods on a bumpy road, Eloise was only focused on the trees they were driving past, each of them looking the same. "Where are we going." Eloise hesitated, waiting for any answer from them. "Somewhere.-"
"Where is somewhere?" Eloise cut off her mother. She didn't realize. "Would you just shut up for a minute?" She looked back at Eloise.

Eloise peeked over at her, and was quick to look away again. Her whole body froze. That was when everything just went south. Questions popped into her head, she started overthinking. The only thing she could think of was stuff she wished she didn't even wish she could think of. "what a brat." She could hear father say. Her heart sank. She could have swore she heard her mother quietly groaning out of annoyance. Eloise clenched her fist. "I hate you." She muttered under her breath, but somehow, they managed to hear whatever she said. "What did you say?" Her father spoke up. His voice grew cold. "Nothing." Eloise regretted every word she said. Her mother looked back at her once again, before looking back at the road.

There was a long silence, suddenly, her parents went all out on speaking. "We should have just left her at her grandparents." Her mother hissed. Her father focused on the road, but he agreed to whatever she said. Eloise tried to block everything out by closing her eyes, focusing into darkness. However, the car came to an halt. Eloise opened her eyes the moment she felt the atmosphere got different. They parked right i front of a white tiny house. It wasn't huge, but it definitely wasn't tiny either. It almost gave off a beach house in some way. "Grab your bag and get out." Her mother ordered as she did the same.

Eloise did exactly what she was told. She grabbed her bag, and slowly opened the car door, letting the fresh air of what felt like nature hit her. She looked around though what she saw surprised her. Down a long hill and grass field, there was a beach. It was packed with other human beings swimming and sun bathing. Eloise just felt confusion fueling over her. However, she was quick to follow her parents who were already inside the house. It was spacious. Tiny, yet big enough. "Go unpack." Her father pointed over at a door that was down a hallway. Eloise held onto her bag, walking over to where the door was.

At this exact moment, she started doubting stuff. Why was she even here, and why did they even bring her. With millions of questions swarming around her mind, she opened the bedroom door. The room was tiny. A bed and a wooden tiny bed side table. There was a window by the wall, and the wallpaper was baby blue. Though a lot was on her mind, she tried to make sense of the situation while packing out. She didn't want to fall into any kind of trap that her parents could probably be doing.
