"The Alpha's Patience"
Shubman's wolf instincts urged him to claim Ishan as his own, but he knew he had to wait. He couldn't risk scaring the Omega away, not when he was so close to winning his heart.
So, Shubman continued to visit Ishan at the pup center, bringing gifts and offering help whenever he could.
He would sit with Ishan during meals, listening to his stories and laughter, and feeling his heart swell with love.
Ishan, still oblivious to Shubman's intentions, grew to appreciate the Alpha's company.
He enjoyed their conversations and felt safe around Shubman, like he could be himself without fear of judgment.
As the days turned into weeks, Shubman's inner wolf grew stronger, more impatient. He wanted to claim Ishan, to mark him as his own and protect him from harm.
But Shubman's human side knew better, knew that he had to wait for Ishan to come to him willingly.
One evening, as they sat together watching the pups play, Ishan turned to Shubman with a curious expression. "Shubman, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, Ishan," Shubman replied, his heart skipping a beat.
"Why do you come here so often?" Ishan asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "You're a busy Alpha, I'm sure you have more important things to attend to."
Shubman's wolf instincts urged him to tell the truth, to reveal his feelings and claim Ishan as his own. But his human side hesitated, unsure of how Ishan would react.
"I come here because I enjoy your company, Ishan," Shubman said finally, his voice low and husky. "You have a way of making me feel at peace."
Ishan smiled, his face lighting up with pleasure. "I'm glad to hear that, Shubman. You're a kind and gentle soul, and I'm lucky to have you as a friend."
Shubman's heart swelled with love at Ishan's words, and he knew he had to be patient, to wait for the right moment to reveal his true feelings to the Omega.
Shubman smiled back at Ishan, his heart racing with excitement. He knew he was getting closer to winning Ishan's heart, but he also knew he had to be careful not to scare him away.
As they continued to talk, Shubman realized that Ishan was opening up to him more and more. He was sharing stories and laughter, and Shubman could see the trust growing in his eyes.
But just as things were going well, Abhishek appeared at the pup center, his expression serious. "Alpha, we need to talk," he said, his voice low.
Shubman nodded, knowing that Abhishek wouldn't interrupt him unless it was important. He excused himself and followed Abhishek outside.
"What is it, Abhishek?" Shubman asked, his mind racing with possibilities.
"It's about the rival pack," Abhishek replied, his expression grim. "They're getting bolder, alpha. They're threatening to attack us if we don't surrender some of our territory."
Shubman's wolf instincts flared up, urging him to defend his pack. But he knew he had to think carefully, to come up with a plan that would keep his pack safe.
"I'll take care of it, Abhishek," Shubman said finally, his voice firm. "But I need you to keep an eye on Ishan. I don't want him getting hurt if things escalate."
Abhishek nodded, his expression understanding. "I'll keep him safe, Shubman. Don't worry."
Shubman nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew he could count on Abhishek to protect Ishan, and that gave him the freedom to focus on dealing with the rival pack.
