The Accidental Pair

chapter I

                                  Audrey's POV

- I was working on an assignment on my laptop when I looked out my window which was right beside my table. I could see the road that was separating our house from the Arnault's, it wasn't a surprise that their house was much bigger than ours;

I sighed and fixed my gaze back onto my laptop and continued writting the assignment when my bestfriend Cassie burst into my room like she always does and plops onto my bed, questioning me; "hey, did you finish the assignment?" I looked at her blankly a bit annoyed and answered "working on it" she shrugged and got up to grab a drink from my mini fridge.

Hold on, let me give you a brief introduction of my bestfriend Cassie here; like mine, her family is also a wealthy family and we bacame friends back in kindergarten when she pooped her pants and I was the only one who befriended her, not saying she lacked of any options for friends. Well, she was also the extrovert type, quirky and not to mention a game freak! She had a youtube channel where she would post contents about gaming and would constantly vlog.

Well, enough of her introduction, let's get to the main storyline ~

- few minutes later, I finished my assignment and turned to look at Cassie, "so, what about your assignment?" Cassie looked at me like I've said the funniest thing ever and started laughing and clapping. I stared at her dumbfounded and minutes later she recovered herself from laughing and took a deep breath before answering me, "Audrey, I never do my assignments on my own, I always have my assistant do it for me" I furrowed my brows and replied, "and, why was it sooo funny huh?" Cassie winked at me "thought you knew better about me"

we hanged out like usual at my place and time passed, it was already evening and cassie returned leaving me in my room all alone. I plopped on my bed and smelled myself, "ughh" I got up and got ready to take a shower dragging myself out of bed.

I was putting my hair up with a claw clip when I glanced out of my window catching a glimpse of Sebastian in the pool. He looked sooo hot and kissable, I could melt. I hadn't even known that I was staring at him until he called out my name.

I was startled and blushed, embarassed about what had just happened and couldn't even answer, I closed my blinds quickly but before I pulled it all the way, I stopped to catch another glance of him, he was smirking!!!. I quickly pulled it all the way and jumped around like crazy before getting into the shower.

I was singing my heart out while in the shower and jumping and smiling whenever I remembered the way he called my name. At some point I even questioned myself if I was sane or insane but who cares, I had my crush's attention!! Ahhhhhhh!

After a refreshing shower, I changed into something comfortable and headed down for dinner

There, my parents were already sat and eating dinner when I joined. Both looked at me and continued eating dinner again; I started eating dinner too and it was quiet awkward since no one of us was talking, my dad decides to break the silence by asking about how school was going on.. I answered casually that everything was going well.

He turned to my mother and started talking about another topic which I don't really pay attention to until, I heard a familiar name.

"It's sad to see that Sam is not like his brother and focusing more on his band"

My dad says, it was true that Sam was not like his brother; I continued eating my dinner.

"But good thing, Sebastian is the whole package"

My dad continues and looks over to me, I knew what was coming

"Audrey, did you manage to win his heart?"

My dad asks with a smug grin on his face, everybody seems to know that I have a crush on him and it was tiring.

"Haha. Funny dad"

My parents laughed as I rolled my eyes at my dad.
The rest of the night went by quickly and I drifted to sleep.
