It was a very dark night with no stars in the sky, weather conditions were bad enough with windy cold air passing without any cage freezing one's soul to death.
Every house of the place was in dark hue leaving one to wonder what would be hidden inside them.
It was around 3 in the morning and there was no one in sight, up to its name this was the graveyard time.
However there was her getting out of that house in a hurry, as if running away from someone or something.
She was scared and terrified as her feet wobbled when she ran, her eyes falling on the shadow figure on the road running along with her.
Her nervous eyes tried to look around for a safe place to hide, but unfortunately everything around her was filled with darkness which she desperately wanted to get out of.
What did she do? Why did it happen with her?
Why is she running in the middle of a dark night as if she is on a run? There were numerous questions and only she could answer them.
She is Pia Verma, married to the business man Rishabh Verma, Rishabh is your classy, stylish 6 ft man with good body and health.
To world they are happily married and good couple but inside of it was totally different, no one knew her loving and caring husband Rishabh was not what he was.
No one knew what was between them, and she wondered what would be the reaction of others if they knew what Rishabh was actually like?
Pia kept running away from the house in hurry, as if trying to escape from something or someone. Today was enough for her she could not bear his torture anymore.
It was not that she was weak and gullible, but enough was enough for her. Why he had to be like this to her? What did she do?
Why did he marry her if he wanted to toy around with her? But she can only swallow her questions because whenever she tried to ask only silence was met.
Maybe that day when he first arrived at her house with his parents for marriage proposal was the start of everything. or maybe not?
Running away she reached at deadend. Huffing she tried to calm her breathing as she looked sideways to choose her next path.
Looking back he was nowhere in sight. There was sense of relief on her face. Finally she was out of that cage and now she needed to reach her parents and file a divorce then it will be all over.
Her tragic life will end and she could once again live her simple and sweet life.
But was it all easy? After taking enough oxygen she again looked back at the path she came from and there was not a single soul as usual.
'Maybe it's finally over.'
She breathed a sigh of relief. Swallowing her saliva she wiped sweat from her forehead and decided to once again run toward her left. As soon as she will reach bus stop or station she will catch any transport to reach her place.
She continued to run ahead in hope to get out of these clutches which kept pulling her back. It took her time but she finally reached bus stop only to find emptiness.
It was obvious in the middle of the night people sleep, who stays awake? maybe some one who works night shifts and her.
Tears kept pouring out of her eyes but she wiped them and continued to look for possible way to escape as soon as possible, because she knew once she is caught maybe her life will meet deadend.
Fear crept into her heart as she still tired from running decided to run further to look for something to help her and save her.
Her feets started hurting from small pointed rock stabing into her heel but she could only endure her pain and run, her bare feet kept running to safe herself.
Finally she saw big and broad station sign and a hopeful smile blossomed on her face, her face was already sweaty from the running and now due to specific angle of light it shined once she smile in hope.
Her emotions got best of her as she with all her might ran towards the station, it was just an alley away. Once she gets pass this alley she will be free and away from all the horrors and momsters she had to face.
She kept running with hopeful eyes, her steps hasten as she felt station getting closer to herself.
She just have to get out from the alley and cross the road and then she will finally enter station and catch a train to her hometown.
How simple it was! But as soon as she neared the end of the alley a deep sense of fear kept crawling into her heart.
Something was amiss. She just had to cross the road and reach station then it will be over but was it?
Running she wondered why this fears started controlling her heart? Or maybe it was instinct?
Soon she was out of the alley and before she could cross the road a car stopped right in front of her and the car window went down.
"It took you one hour and thirty minutes to reach the station, you should have asked the driver he would have driven you here in 10 minutes Darling. "
Looking at the familiar face and that familiar look she knew she once again fell into his trap.
But no not this time, this was maybe the only chance she could reach her freedom this close, and she cannot let this go just like this.
Ignoring his deep dark eyes she immediately ran from side to get inside station, he shook his head and smiled in mischievous way.
He always knew she was like this and this is what made this game more interesting for him. He, Rishabh Verma really love his dear wife.
"Get her back James. "
"Yes boss. "
