The Forgotten Wonderland

Chapter 5: Welcome to Wonderland!

I awaken from a nightmare about that stupid cat and his creepy smile. It's early in the morning, the morning fog covers most of the marsh ground.
I remember the tea party. I shake Suki awake as she gives me a groan and turns the other way.

"Suki come on! We're gonna be late!"

She just groans and mumbles in her sleep.

"You sound a lot like that rabbit right now."

I stand there, fists by my side.

"That's it!"

I yank the rose petals off of her and grab her by the feet. I drag her on the ground for a moment. Until she finally wakes up fully.

"Stopp!! Fine fine I'll wake up!!"

"Good! Let's go, now!"

I storm off onto the path Infront of us.
She follows close behind me. I stick my hand out behind me for her to hold. We walk through a large rose field. The flowers looking down on us, when suddenly we hear them speak.

"Hmm these girls truly stink."

"Hmm what strange clothing."

"Hmmm I didn't know we had beggars in wonderland! Ha ha ha"

The roses all start laughing.

"That's not very nice you know! We have no idea where we even are!"

The rose leans down to me, it's face much bigger than mine.

"Do you know where you need to go...the shower! Ha ha ha"

All the roses start laughing again. I mock their stingy laughter.
Suki stands in front of me and grabs the rose by its petals.

"Oh yeah? Why don't we use this as a perfume for when we finish!!!"

"No! My beautiful petals!!!"

With that Suki yanks off two rose petals and the rose starts crying.

"Get her!"

With their leaf hands they try to grab us. Suki grabs my hand and drags me out of the rose field.

"How are you gonna get us now? Pussy!"

Suki screamed at them. She stuck out her tongue, still holding the two petals.

"What are we going to do with them?"

"I don't know.. let's take it with us anyway."

I can tell Suki is getting a bit braver. I'm proud of her.
As we keep walking down the path we can hear laughter and glass breaking.
We hesitate. Suki then asks me.

"Do you think they'll be kind?.."

"I don't know.."

We keep walking and see a long table and glass cups flying and laughter.
I put my finger on my lips to tell Suki to not say a word. I signed her to stay here.
I slowly walk over to the table. Trying not to be seen. On the table sits a man with a long hat, a hare, and a mouse.
