Everything was so beautiful and shiny to look at. I looked at everything kept there and I was immediately obsessed with this culture. I asked the guide about everything kept there and he answered my every question.
According to what he said, some of them were of the freedom fighters while some of these were of the Britishers. There were many whip kept, one even had glass shards on it and on the glass, dried blood.
Well, that looks creepy as hell but anyways, I continued my work and honestly it was amazing, if I could I want to see all of them when they were alive.
Not knowing the future might make you wish for many things in life.
I further went when the guide asked me if I want to know more about these pieces. I nodded my head and said yes, so he suggested we can go to the basement if I want to, that is. I immediately nodded my head and excitingly asked him if I can go, he said yes and so we turned our direction and started going towards the basement.
Just as we were walking, one man came running and told guide something in his ears and then went away. The guide looked at me, a bit disappointed and told me to either wait of if I can go on my own then that is also acceptable as he urgently needs to go somewhere and the door of the basement is open so I can go there. But he warned about one thing which was a box covered in red cloth, he forbid me to touch that as there were still research to be done on that. I agreed with him and said I won't. And he further instructed me about many things.
I said okay to all of them and then as he was finished, he went away, I went in the elevator and came on the ground floor. I then straightly headed towards the basement and just as he said, the door was open and so I went in.
My gosh, there are so many stairs and so much darkness. I can't see anything. I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight and then headed downstairs, then as I reached the ground, I searched for the light switch and the moment I found it, I turned it on but not much difference because there were only four lights on each corner of the room so and as they were all not that bright, it wasn't much of different. So, I kept my flashlight on.
As I examined everything under those lights, everything were so shiny, so pretty and just as he said, there were both Indian and British things kept such as crowns, queen Victoria's potrait, whip, their uniforms, swords, guns, wait...., is that a sniper? Who would use such a deadly weapon in the early, using this on people? That man must be living Monster, A killer.
Anyways, I went further in and saw more various things such as a villa's potrait, an Indian royal outfit with the jewelleries and so much more things but the only thing which grabbed my attention was a wooden box which was so big that my backpack could fit in it.
I went towards it and examined it properly, I roamed my fingers on it, only to find dust all over it and my hands got dirty now. I dusted my hands on my jeans and then again at it again, I noticed that there was something written on it. I removed the dust with my hands and noticed the letters, it was written in cursive handwriting and in english so I angled the flashlight and tried my best in reading the words, it was written something sort of,
"For........ my precious.............my little flower."
What in the hell? Who wrote such cringy lines and precious? The Britishers had someone precious to them? I can hardly believe it. And what kind of a nickname is that? Little flower? Wow, quite the way to name somebody. But if was of British man, then it must be his wife. But why is it kept here and not in London? Strange.
I kept my phone in my mouth and tried to open the box by unlocking the handles but they are so heavy that I dropped it in first try, but I didn't lose hope, I tried again and this time, I didn't let it go and opened it with all of my strength.
