Laying there asleep in your bed the door creaks open, a shadowy figure standing there, you peak your eyes open at the noise groggy and confused, you think you are seeing things with the dim lit light, you start to sit up going to reach for the lamp at your bedside, "don't move, and don't make a sound" a British man's voice gently states, your body halts all actions more confusion taking over and anxiety growing. Is this a dream? What is happening, he enters the room hands in his pockets and stops at the foot of your bed, you stare trying to see into the darkness, the back of your mind telling you something is wrong but your body and everything else happy to oblige.
(author note: I started writing this fanfic from a dream I had and feeling what it was like to be under kilgraves control, it fascinated me how terrifying it was and being told to do things, so I began to write a story around the dreams I had of him. some of the descriptions in scenes are what I actually dreamt and felt from being around Kilgrave. I thought this info would be an interesting tidbit of information, hope you all enjoy the novel!)
