Red

It's finally lunch time , I don't think I learned anything in any of these classes I mean how could I with a beautiful girl sitting right next to me in every class. After me and Chloe sit down at a free table, Li Shang and Aziz approached us, "Hey girls can we sit here?" "Aziz we don't need to ask them it's a public space" Li Shang says while sitting down.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed, "I want to know if I can take you on a date" Li Shang asks.
Chloe looks at me like she was worried about something, "Yeah sure" "Red..." Chloe starts to say."But only after you beat Chloe in sword fight", "Okay easy".

Chloe

"Red, do you even like him?" I whisper, "Of course not but I want him to get embarrassed for being a douche bag". It sounds like a good plan although I don't know how good he is at fighting I have to win so that he and Red don't go on a date, she's supposed to be mine.

"Red get prepared for our date" Li Shang says confidently , "You sound pretty confident for someone who's gonna lose" I say annoyed of his voice , "My mom is Mulan and my dad was a soldier, your mom was a peasant and your dad used to skateboard. I think we both know who's gonna win".

Red

How dare he speak to her like that. "Correction her mom was and is a strong person considering what she went through and her dad was a prince, last time I check princes learn how to fight" I say with a hint of anger in my tone.

I wasn't looking at her but I see her smile at the corner of my eye. Knowing that I'm the reason there's a smile on her face makes me feel warm inside.

Chloe

Red just defended me causing me to look down and smile because I can feel my face heating up. "Okay I'm done here meet me in the fencing room after school" Li Shang says getting up to leave with Aziz.

"Thanks for defending me Red" I say a little embarrassed, "How could I not he was disrespectful to the girl I l- live with and your my friend". It was weird how she said it, it's almost like she meant something else but it might just be me.
