As we kissed, I felt a sense of freedom I'd never known before. But it was short-lived. We heard the sound of footsteps outside my room, and I knew my father had discovered us.

Brando sprang into action, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the window. But it was too late. My father burst into the room, his face twisted in rage.

"Get out!" he bellowed, his eyes fixed on Brando. "Get out of my house, you filthy De Sanctis!"

Brando stood his ground, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I won't leave her," he growled.

But my father was too strong. He dragged Brando away, throwing him out of the house with a warning: "Stay away from my daughter, or you'll regret it."

I was left alone, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I knew I'd never see Brando again, not if my father had anything to say about it.

And as I lay in bed that night, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was trapped, trapped in a life I didn't want, with no escape in sight.
