It was stormy midnight, loud shrieks of pain were heard from maternity ward while a man was pacing back and forth in the gallery. Other family members grandpa & grandma were holding hands, giving hope to each other while a four year boy calmly sitting in the chair just gazing at photograph in his hand and after few seconds, towards the door. To their peace, sound of a crying infant was heard. They all took deep breath and slowly a nurse appeared from the door holding a baby in her hands, forwarding it to the elder most woman of the family, Kamla Singh Rathore. She smelled and kissed baby's forehead showering her with blessings while she held her head high with pride as if she liked the daughter too much. She smiled seeing her husband, Kailash Singh Rathore calmly caressing his grandson's head. He indeed was the best person who never let anyone feel left behind. And to his sorrow, their own grandson was the most silent person in the whole family. In the age he was, children make the home feel lively while he just remained locked in a separate room gazing to the photograph of his demised parents. But the values they gave to their children were still alive in their hearts and everyone accepted the 3 year old boy wholeheartedly. Also the younger son adopted him as his legal child.
