(TIME SKIPS ARE VERY COMMON IN THIS BOOK. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHT. WE ARE STARTING DAY 2)
~~Leafpaw
Despite losing the first challenge, her team had surprisingly high hopes for the gameshow.
Leafpaw was u sure really of how to feel, was she supposed to be angry and protective to make herself seem strong and a good player? Or nice and gentle, so other players don't think of her as a threat.
Leafpaw sighed and looked over her shoulder, where her friend, Flamepaw was standing. Flamepaw was tugging at a root, trying to pull it out.
The others were also cleaning up what was there camp, a small board of wood, and a big board spelling 'Survivor 45' on it.
"Almost done guys. We have to be on the lookout for challenges though, I think the first real one may be today!" Salamander called out. Salamander seemed to be the leader, the dragon in charge now.
Leafpaw felt a bit of resentment to him, but was glad someone took charge. Team maroon was like her new clan.
That was a bad thought. Leafpaw pawed the ground with frustration.
"Uh... Leafpaw you've dug a hole..?"
Leafpaw blinked and looked down. All that time she had been thinking, she had dug a tiny hile in the ground. Flamepaw looked quizzical but continued pulling the troublesome root out.
Leafpaw kicked the dirt back ontop and with a sigh, assisted Flamepaw with the root.
~~Frostmorning
Frostmorning padded away from the tension at camp. Jaywing was still asleep, so this was her one chance to explore, maybe find a idol.
Frostmorning stretched her claws out, concerned about jaywing.
That big ice dragon, Icebreaker she believed his name was, was quite angry over him. She found it hard to believe that anybody could be so angry over such an innocent little cat, but maybe FrostMorning didn't know the full story. She never really did know the full story, but she always recognized it. As long as she tried, other cats, and maybe dragons would like her.
Frostmorning kept telling herself that as she wandered the trail, her long elegant tail swishing back and forth, brushing lightly against the brush and plantlife. It was quite strange actually, Back at Thunderclan, Everything was trees. But here.. Only around the camp was sheer forest. so far it was just abnormally large bushes, and small saplings.
Frostmorning frowned as she pondered this, her mind not quite wrapping around this. suddenly, for she was not looking where she was going, Her paw snagged a root, and with a gasp she fell forward, snout pushed into the dirt, paws hitting the ground hard.
"Fox dung!" Frostmorning hissed, and got to her paws, shaking out her pelt, grumbling.
She turned around, looking at the dusty trail, and her eyes caught the root, sticking out like a sore claw. She Padded over too it, tail lashing and glared at it.
"you tripped me. Hope your happy!" she hissed at it, sitting down beside the odd root. She licked her paw, hoping she didn't bust a claw.
Frostmorning suddenly got a weird thought. Why was there a root in the middle of the path? She looked up, and around, looking for any trees, or big bush. The area was surprisingly empty, bushes on the far ends of the trail, but grass and sand in a big circle almost.
