Chapter Twelve

The morning after the party, Jungkook was laying in his bed not getting much sleep last night. He sighed out as he snatched the covers from over him and glared at the ceiling with puffy eyes. He was so confused about last night. He really liked the kiss and he was glad it was with Taehyung but something just wasn't right with it. Jungkook climbed out of his bed and moved into his bathroom to take a shower. 

After his morning routine he pulled on a black sweater with cursive writing on it that read 'Respect' in red. Jungkook had decided to go and speak to Taehyung about what happened. He didn't want anything awkward between them considering they shared the same friend group. On his way out of his apartment he ran into Jimin and Joon talking amongst each other at Jimin's door. "Oh? Good Morning you two..what's wrong?" he asked moving over. Jimin looked over clearing his throat somewhat "We can't find Taehyung" he stated making Jungkook frown. 

"Huh?" Jungkook questioned stopping in front of them. "Is he not in his own room?" he asked pulling out his phone to try and call him. "Don't bother. He left his phone here" Jimin said holding up Taehyung's phone. "So he came here after?" he asked making Jimin tilt his head. "After what?" Namjoon asked crossing his arms. "Uhm..he came to my place to try and sober up..he didn't stay though" Jungkook explained leaving out the moment they had together. 

Jimin eyed him silently before turning to Joon. "Can you ask Jin to keep a lookout for him on his route today?" Namjoon nodded before heading for the elevator. "Does he stay with anyone? Maybe we should ask them" Jungkook suggested making Jimin make a small 'tsk' sound. "No. They...they don't know either" he said opening the door to his room. "For now we have Namjoon and Jin looking for him. Where are you going?" Jimin asked continuing to pick up from last night. "I was actually going to look for Taehyung" he mumbled out. "You need help? This will help me keep my mind off the worst" he confessed. Jimin glanced back staring at him. "You're really worried huh?" he asked his gaze turning soft. Jungkook chuckled softly looking off "Yeah.."

Jimin hummed before clasping his hands together. "How about after we clean up here..we'll go look as well?" he offered. "That sounds good"

Namjoon had turned on the 'No Available Rooms' sign and headed out to check the surrounding area. "This guy..he only goes missing when something is wrong" he mumbled to himself as he searched around the building. He sent a quick message to Jin informing him about what was going on. Jin had just got back to the truck when his phone went off. "What has he gotten himself into" he sighed out sending a quick 'okay' back. He finished up the deliveries on the street before heading over a few blocks away from the building to look for Taehyung. 

Hours had passed and there was still no sign of Taehyung anywhere. Namjoon and Jin had gathered in the lobby with Jimin. "Jungkook went to his room...he seems off" he said placing his hands on his hips. "I looked everywhere you guys. Where Jungkook works..his old house. Everywhere" Jin said rubbing at his head. "That damn idiot. Of course he would leave his phone" Jimin grumbled out. 

Jungkook was looking around the halls again huffing out once he got on the top floor. He leaned against the wall covering his face groaning loudly. "This is all my fault" he mumbled into his hands. The room beside him door slammed opened and a very disturbed male came out glaring at Jungkook. "What the hell is all that noise?" he said crossing his arms. Jungkook jumped at the sudden voice quickly standing straight and bowing. "I'm so sorry sir" he said quickly. A familiar face peeked out the door tilting their head. "Jungkook?" 

Jungkook looked up at the name call tilting his head the opposite way. "Hoseok?" he asked making the angry male only get angrier. "Excuse me?" he said nudging Hoseok. "Oh I'm sorry. Jungkook this is Yoongi." Hoseok introduced the two. "..so what is all the noise for Jungkook" Yoongi said staring at him. Jungkook blinked slowly before clearing his throat and looked off. "Again I'm sorry..I'm just dealing with something right now" he said rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm looking for my friend Taehyung" Yoongi rose a brow before tapping at his lips looking over at Hoseok. "I don't know if it's the same guy or not but I did see someone this morning going to the roof." Yoongi said glancing back at Jungkook. 

Jungkook eyes widened before grabbing onto Yoongi who tensed up immediately. "Where?" 

Yoongi pointed behind Jungkook to a door that was being held open with a brick. Jungkook almost broke his neck turning to the door. "Thanks!" he said rushing to the door. He pushed through the door, knocking down the brick holding it open. His gaze scanned over the roof stopping at a figure that was sitting on the edge of the roof. Jungkook's breath caught in his throat slowly stepping forward before yelling out "Taehyung!" 

The figure turned around widening their eyes when they were tackled into a hug. Taehyung let out a small 'oof" sound when he hit the ground groaning out. "What the hell man" he grumbled patting at kookie's back. He sat up on top of Taehyung. "No you what the hell. Everyone was worried about you. Where have you-" he stopped staring down at him. Taehyung looked off with furrowed brows once he seen Jungkook's gaze. Taehyung had a bruise leading from his cheek down to his jaw. Jungkook stared in silence his hand slowly moving up to his face hovering over it. "Don't stare man...that's weird" Taehyung mumbled puffing out his cheeks wincing in the process. 

Taehyung looked back at Jungkook when he didn't say anything. Jungkook's hands were slightly shaking as they finally cupped the side of Taehyung's face that wasn't bruised. "What are you doing?" Taehyung asked in a nervous voice. Jungkook kept quiet leaning down and started to place kisses down the bruise. Taehyung stared off with wide eyes his hand slowly gripping Jungkook's shirt. "K-kook" he started but was immediately cut off with Jungkook pressing a kiss against his lips. It wasn't much just a quick soft kiss against Taehyung's lips. Taehyung grip tightened pulling back when Jungkook did. They stared at each other for a moment before Jungkook was wrapping his arms around him tightly in a hug. "Don't leave again" he whispered. "Please" 

Taehyung slowly wrapped his arms back around him and nodded. "Okay"

Authors Note: I know..it's been a while. Longer than just a while but I've had writers block for a long time and couldn't find any motivation to start again.  I decided to re-read over my books that I have published up here and it brought me some courage to try and write again. I opened up this book and just started typing. I wrote this within a day. I know it's not that long but  I'm pretty happy with it. I'm glad to be back and for this book to be my main focus for now. I will try and get to my other works mainly being Vampire Boy. I'm thinking about editing it and re-writing some chapters. Thanks for being patient and I'm so happy to finally write again.
