I'm in the car with my mom and brother driving to cousins beach. Every summer we go to my mom's best friend beach house with the Conklins and Fishers.
My mom, Laurel and Susannah been best friends since college always attacked to the hip. They did everything together.
My hair flow through the wind as run the word by Beyonce playings on the radio. I sing loud to it. while my brother rolled his at my singing.
Jayden goes back to his phone. our mom laughs softly smiling at me. I smiled back as I turned down the music. Mom speaks up
" Are you guys excited." Mom asked
" I'm very excited, I can't wait to see everyone." I say
" You're only excited to see Conrad." Jayden teased, smirking
I blush at that. Jayden, mom, belly and Rebecca are the only people that know about my crushes on him.
Rebecca had always told me to confess my feelings. But I would refuse not wanting to in embarrass myself. Conrad doesn't like me like that, only as a best friend.
And I want to keep it that way. I don't won't to ruin our friendship over a silly little childhood crush.
" Shut up, Jayden." I shot back glaring at him

" If you don't stop, I going to send everyone in the group chat and Maria your fics." I threatened
Jayden stop grinning glaring at me " you wouldn't."
"Try me." I smirked showing him the open group chat.
Jayden leaned forward trying to take my phone but I slapped his hand away fighting back. We continue to fight when mom took my phone.
" Stop it, you two." Mom scoffed us
" You both are acting like 5 year old. Cut it out or I'm grounding both of you and you won't go know where this summer." Mom strictly said.
Jayden sit back sighed as I cross my arms over my chest scoffing quietly. Mom lets out a breath and continues to talk.
" I want you two to be good House guests. Wash your dishes when your done using them and clean up after yourselfs." Mom explained
" We don't need to be looking after teens who are old enough to look after themselves." Mom said
And Jayden don't stay out to late. Be home by nighttime okay?" Mom tells him gently
" Okay ma." Jayden said nodded at her words
" What about me." I raised my eyebrows
" Why do you need a curfew. You're don't go nowhere unless it's with belly which is not much and you only have one friend ." Jayden Laughs
" I do go places with Rebecca, we go shopping every summer and I have more than one friend, asshole." I say
" Hey, don't be a dick to your sister, Jayden and language Angelina we will talk about it later, okay?" Mom assured me
" Ok." I say give her a small smile
The ride was silent for the rest of the ride. Lover by Taylor Swift played softly in the background. We need gas so Jayden pulled into the gas station.
Jayden pull up to a pump turning of the engine. He got out paying for the gas then start to pump it.
