"Hey Mommy! Pass the Frisbee to me." Rebecca said as her mom walked into the back yard. "Okay sweetie." Her mom said as she opened the toy bin and grabbed the frisbee.
She threw the frisbee across the lawn. Rebecca jumped to catch it but she just missed it. She came pounding to the ground and busted into tears. "Honey! Are you okay?" Her mom said as she raced over to her and put her on the beige lawn chair beside their willow tree. "Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!" Rebecca squealed. "It's alright bay you're gonna be okay. Just calm down."
Rebecca's knee had a big scratch on it, since the rock she had landed on was pretty big, her cut would match.
"Mommy. Is that you?" Rebecca asked. "Yes it's me sweetie. How are you?" Rebecca's mom said in relief. "8 fine. But what happened?" "It doesn't matter honey. As long as your alright." Her mom said as she hugged her 6 year old daughter and kissed her on the cheek. "Where am I mommy?" She moaned "you're in your bed deary." Rebecca sat up and was happy to see herself in her cozy bed and her small room. She was still a bit freaked out about what happened.
The next day...
"Hi daddy! What's for breakfast." Rebecca said happily. "Daddy's special pancakes. Now sweetie, how's your knee doing?" Her dad answered."It's fine. Now where is the sirup?" Rebecca questioned."It's in the fridge. And when you go to brush your teeth, put some bad age on your knee, but do it fast because you're going to be late for school." Her dad stated "Okay! Thanks Dad!" Rebecca grabbed the sirup and her plate and sat down at the table.
"Daddy's special pancakes are ready! Eat up kiddo." Rebecca's dad shouted as he put 2 pancakes on her plate and started to cut them for her. "Thanks daddy." Rebecca said "You're welcome kiddo." He said.
Rebecca finished her pancakes and went upstairs to brush her teeth and her hair. And get the bandage for her knee.
She grabbed her toothbrush and started brushing. "Hey Mommy! Can you help me put bandage on my knee!?" Rebecca yeled all th way from the bathroom. "Sure honey." Her mom said while walking to the bathroom.
Rebecca had her lunch packed and all her homework and text books were in her bag. She was ready for school. And her parents were ready for work. There were still 10 more minutes until Rebecca had to leave for school, so she headed to her room to play with her toys.
Then the door rang. Rebecca raced down stairs and opened the door, it was her best friend John. "Hi Johnny!" Rebecca squealed. "Hey Becca. Are you ready to leave for school?" John said in a really funny voice
"Tee! Hee! Not yet. Why don't you come up to my room to play?" Rebecca asked. "Yah sure."So the 2 kids headed up to Rebecca's room.
"Rebecca honey! I'm leaving." Her mom yeled. Rebecca came racing down the stairs and jumped into her mom's arms. "Bye mommy." Rebecca whispered "Good bye sweetie." Her mom chuckled. "See you after school!" Rebecca went to go hug her mom again but she was already out the door.
She headed up to her room again.
"Eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk! Somebody help me!" The sound of Rebecca's mom made Rebecca go see what was going on. Her and John raced out the door and saw a bunch of birds swarming around her mother and lifting her into the sky.
"Mommy! Don't leave me." Rebecca screamed, but it was too late.
