Carly woke up to the man still being by her in her bed. She expected him to sneak out by now. It wasn't normal for her to wake up with someone beside her, they'd always leave before she opened her eyes. And she liked it that way. It was clean cut. No mess.

Carly let out a sigh, annoyed that she had to deal with him again. Carly kicked his back with her foot, trying to shake him awake. Soon he was turning around to look at her, rubbing sleep from his eyes. "Good morning." He said with a sleepy smile, his voice all groggy. "Morning." Carly said, sounding less than impressed as she climbed out of bed.

Logan sat up in bed, his hair all scruffy. He looked really nice, Carly had to admit. "You should be going." Carly told him, nodding to door or her room. "Uh, okay yeah." Logan said, looking a little taken back. "Can I get your number then?" He asked and Carly couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "No." She scoffed like the answer should have been obvious.

"Why not?" Logan asked, his face screwed up in confusion. "I don't really do things like this twice, and I really don't do relationships." Carly told him, taking her dress off and pulling on a pair of shorts and a tank top.

Carly watched as Logan widened his eyes and raised his eyebrows. "Wow, so this was nothing to you?" He asked, his tone not as friendly as it previous was. "Yeah." Carly said, shrugging her shoulders like again, the answer should have been obvious.

Logan got out of the bed and he looked quite mad as he got himself dressed. Carly couldn't really understand why he'd be upset, men were normally very pleased with one-and-done sex. Carly watched as he was quick to leave her room, slamming her door behind him.

Having to kick him out still didn't really make Carly regret last night, he was good. Logan was actually better than anyone she'd ever had. It made her a little sad that she wouldn't get to be with him again, but her one-time rule was to make sure she never got attached.
It was easy for Carly to catch feelings, so she didn't ever let it get to that point. Relationships weren't really something that Carly ever saw possible in her life. But as long as she got her needs met, she couldn't say that she cared.

Carly decided that she was actually going to leave her room during the day today. After ordering breakfast to her room and binging another series on Netflix, she got herself ready to spend a day by the pool. After spending days in her room, her tan could be done with a top up. Carly pulled on a simple black bikini, braided her hair, and packed a bag to take with her.

When she left her room, she found an envelope taped to the outside of her door. Carly pulled it off, opening it. Inside she found a stack of money and a note. The note read 'This is for last night.' Carly let out a chuckle of disbelief. "What the fuck?" She found herself saying out loud. Was he for real? Carly ran the dollar bills through her finger-tips, counting $5,000. Carly looked around, releasing how stupid it was for him to leave it out here. Anyone could have taken it.

Leaving the money was not only stupid, but a little insulting. Did he think she was a prostitute or something? Carly had no issue with sex work, but for him to just presume she was a prostitute without her giving any indication was a little rude. She put the money back in her envelope and placed the envelope in her back.

She was going to give him the money back. Carly didn't need it, nor did she want it. Really was actually kind of mad at him. If this was some kind of joke for her turning him does this morning, it wasn't funny. But she wasn't going to let some boy ruin her day by the pool, so she brushed it off and continued on her way.

The cruise wasn't stopping today so the ship was awfully full, which really annoyed Carly. She had to wait 20 minutes for a sun-lounger to become free. But finally, she was able to sun-bathe. Carly put on her sunglasses, popped in her AirPods, and completely blocked out the rest of the world. She could feel her skin soaking up the rays of the sun as her music flowed in her ears.
