Luka's POV
We rode tiny boats to Hogwarts I touched the water and I saw a mermaid my eyes widened and we soon were inside the castle .
There was Professor Mcgongall she was standing in the front of the first years . " welcome to Hogwarts . In a moment you all will pass through these halls and join your classmates , but before you can you all must be sorted into your houses they are Gryffindor , Hufflepuff , Ravenclaw and Slytherin .
While here your house will be like your family , your triumphs will earn you house points , while any rule- breaking will lose you points . At the end of the year the house with the most points is awarded the house cup a great honor " suddenly a boy yells " Trevor " we all look at him " the sorting ceremony will take place in a few minutes " Professor Mcgongall said.
" how do they sort us " Harry asked " my brothers said it was some sort of test" Ron said just then a platinum blonde boy pushes through the crowd .
Draco's POV
" its true then what they're saying on the train Harry Potter has made his way to Hogwarts " I said there stood a raven haired boy with glasses and a red headed boy the world almost stopped for a second when a kid with hazel eyes looked at me they have long chocolate brown hair and they were standing behind Potter . " oh this is Crabbe and Goyle and my names Malfoy , Draco Malfoy " I said walking towards them Ron coughed as he masked a snigger . " think my names funny do you? No need to ask yours ! Red hair and a hand me down robe you must be a Weasley!" I sneer
Luka's POV
" you'll soon find out that some wizarding family's are better than others Potter I can help you there " Malfoy says as he raises up his hand but Harry's eyes stay level " I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks " Harry said Malfoy's eyes glitter with rage he drops his hand and walks away.
" good job Harry " I said Harry smiled and we walk into the great hall " it's not real the ceiling it's bewitched to look like the night I read that in a Hogwarts history " Hermione said. All the first years gather in the front of the great hall " when I call your name you will come forth and be sorted , Hermione " Granger " Mcgongall said . She went forth and she sat down " Gryffindor " the hat yelled " Draco Malfoy" Professor Mcgongall said he stepped up.
" Slytherin " Ron said " Slytherin" the hat yelled " there wasn't a witch or wizard that didn't go bad in Slytherin " Ron said " I highly doubt that Ron " I said " Luka Garcia " Professor Mcgongall called out my eyes widened and I head up there " ah a new blood I was wondering when I would meet you , you are very kind but very courageous you stand up for what's right no matter what your friends say or think I know GRYFFINDOR " the Sorting hat said the Gryffindor table cheered and I went and sat next to Hermione " I'm so glad we're in the same house " She said
Draco's POV
" they're so pretty too bad they got Gryffindor " Marcus Flint said I look over and they are talking to Oliver wood " Ron Weasley " Professor Mcgongall said " she might be pretty but she's friends with Harry Potter and I swear I will hate both of them " I snarled
Luka's POV
Ron got Gryffindor as well and soon enough they called Harry's name . "He seems to be nervous Ron " I said.
" he will be okay as long as he doesn't. Get Slytherin " he said I rolled my eyes suddenly the sorting hat finally made a decision " GRYFFINDOR " the hat cried out and our table roared with excitement . Harry looked more relaxed as he sat down " congrats Harry " I said " thank you Luka " he said.
" Percy, who is speaking with Professor Quirrel he asked " oh that's Professor Snape head of Slytherin House " Percy Weasley said " what does he teach?" Harry asked . " Potions . But everyone knows he's after the dark arts he's been after Quirrel's job for years " Percy said.
suddenly some students shriek as ghosts come in I smile " hello Sir Nicolas have a good summer? " Percy asked " dismal what with the Slytherin's winning for years the bloody Barron have become unbearable ." He said " I know you your nearly headless nick " Ron said " I prefer Sir Nicolas if you don't mind " He said.
" how does someone be nearly headless ?" Hermione asked. " like this " Sir Nicolas said as he swung his head to the left " I think I'm done eating " Another First year said I smiled " I think it's wicked " I mumbled " if I may I would like to have a word , First years should know that the dark forest is strictly forbidden and our care taker Mr. Filch has asked me to remind you all that no magic should be used in the corridors and finally the third floor is out of bounds unless you want to face a pitiful death " he said.
soon enough dinner was over and we were heading over to our common room for the first time . " note that this is the only way to our common room unless it's Friday when the stair changes " Percy says suddenly we came to a big portrait of a woman with a pink gown on and she says " Password " she asked . " Captut Draconis " he said " Draco " I whispered to myself we all enter a room filled with couches and chairs and firepit but it was all red and very cozy " girls on the left boys on the right you'll find that all of your belongings are in your dorm I went to find my dorm unluckily I didn't have Hermione but that's fine " Hey I'm Angel Smith you must be my new roommate " a girl with short blonde hair said I smiled " I'm a Luka Garcia it's nice to meet you " I went to the bathroom and I took a shower and I changed into. Pjammas and headed to bed in the morning I brushed my hair and changed into the uniform and I headed downstairs to go to my first class of the day Transfiguration. " Hey Luka wait can I sit next to you " Hermione asked as she followed me into the classroom " Sure " I said we got In and Malfoy was already sitting down

He was sitting by one of his Slytherin friends I sat down in front of him " so Luka what's your favorite movie ?" Hermione asked " well I like princess Diaries " I said " Mx. Garcia how was your night last night Professor Mcgongall asked " pretty good the beds are comfy " " what is she your mom ?" Malfoy teased " No she's not my mom " I snapped as I pulled out a potions book " Luka are you excited about potions ?" Hermione asked " very I like baking and cooking so I think I'll like that class " I said Malfoy stared at me I glared at him and he coldly looked back at me  " whew we made it . Can you imagine the look on Professor Mcgongall's face if we were late the first day" Ron said  hearing this she jumps and transforms back into her human form " that was bloody brilliant "  he said I rolled my eyes " thank you for that assessment Mr. Weasley .but perhaps I should transfigure you into a pocket watch so one of you would be on time " She said " we got lost " Harry said " then perhaps a map I trust you can find your seats " they both walk up to the front of the room and they sit down .
Draco's POV
I was staring at Luka's back their hair smelt good to honestly be honest .  They  had her long chocolate brown hair down they was wearing a white headband " Transfiguration is some of the most complex , dangerous and valuable magic you will learn at Hogwarts . Use it skillfully and maybe one day it will save your life . All right then shall we " Professor Mcgongall said
Luka's POV
Class ended " Luka how did you like this class " Hermione asked " it was good I guess " I said we walked out of the classroom and we headed to Potions .  " Luka Hey I'm Zee Smith you probably know my younger sister Angel " a boy with blonde hair said " Oh yeah I do she's one of my roommates " " yeah that's fun if you ever want to study together let me know " he said .
" Okay" I said . " ooh an older boy you like him ?" Hermione asked I blushed " No ! " I said that's when I saw Malfoy's face his eyes were cold . Suddenly a man with a black robe struts into the classroom " there will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As such , I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science of potion making however for the select few " (he glances at Malfoy ) " who possess the predisposition , I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses . I can  tell you how to bottle fame , brew glory even stop death . Then again maybe some of you have come to Hogwarts in the possession of ability's so formidable that you feel so confidant that you feel you don't have to pay attention " Professor Snape said.
I roll my eyes  as the whole class realize that he's talking about Harry . " Mr. Potter our new celebrity tell me what would I get if I added powder root of asphodel to an infusion to wormwood ?" Snape asked Harry looks lost and Hermione hand shoots up in the air " you don't know ? Well let's try again Mr.Potter where would I find a bezoar ?" He asked " I don't know sir" Harry said " and the difference between monkshood and wolfsbane ?" " I don't know " he said .
" pity clearly fame isn't everything " Snape said " clearly Hermione knows it seems a pity you haven't asked her " Harry said some Gryffindor students laugh " Silence ! And girl put your hand down for your information, Potter asphodel and wormwood makes a sleeping potion it is so strong that it is know as the draught of the living death . A bezoar is a stone that is taken from the stomach of a goat and it will save you from most poisons as for monkshood and wolfbane they are a plant and it is also called Aconite " Snape said
He paused and looked at me " why is Garcia the only one taking notes ?" He said the students began to take the notes " and Gryffindor note that five points will be taken from you for your classmates cheek " He said I frowned and class ended
