The next morning, Everette woke up earlier than she's ever in a long time. She immediately got out the bed at four in the morning and immediately began packing, as well as getting ready for the day.
The blonde felt as if she was being suffocated and she just needed a relief, a gasp of air. As soon as she was ready and had everything, she was checked out the hotel by six in the morning. However, she didn't go straight to the airport, she went to Beyoncé's residence.
The reasoning for that is because Beyoncé was hosting a breakfast in a few hours, a farewell breakfast that's supposed to be a surprise for Everette but the blonde knew nothing of that. However, her reasoning going there was because she wanted to be around someone familiar, who understands.
So when she showed up unannounced, it caught Beyoncé by surprise.
"Ever ———— ! Not to sound rude, what are you doing here? Isn't your flight in a few hours?"
"Yeah." Everette nodded, "My flight to Arizona."
"You're not going back to LA . . " Beyoncé felt as if she was looking at a stray puppy as Everette shrugged her shoulders.
The singer let Everette through the door and set her things in the living room.
The two chatted for a few as Beyoncé did some finishing touches around the backyard for the surprise breakfast. She had to make sure the rest was being done secretly.
After another hour or so, guests were finally arriving and Everette was completely confused as she watch Beyoncé greet a few guests.

Everyone was gathered in the backyard chatting away, eating, and do whatever people do in the morning.
Everette was sat a table with a few random people that she was getting to know while also downing a glass of brown liquor. It wasn't something that she does ever, but she felt like she was at her wit's end and Beyoncé noticed but decided not to intervene.
Instead the singer stood up and rose a glass in the air, "I'd like to make a toast to Everette ————— my new friend, producer, and whatever else comes after that. Thank you so much for accepting to be apart of my new project and so far, all of it wouldn't be what it is without you." She concluded, "Thank you."
