Random One-Shots {Requests Open}

All in a Day

Of course, the day started out normal.

Lunar was training, Earth was with Monty, Sun was planning and pouring over every little detail with Moon.

That was all fine, until Gemini, Taurus, and Nebula showed up out of the blue. Gemini was clearly thinking about something, and looked to be on edge. Nebula and Taurus were a lot harder to get a read on, however.

Gemini first went to Lunar, to give him a warning. Something was coming, and it would be bad.

Nebula was the one who went to go warn Earth, Taurus watching from afar. All unknowing of the darkness rapidly approaching.

It would come to no surprise to the reader, however, that that darkness came well before it was supposed to. Things happened too quickly, Nebula had barely passed the threshold of Monty and Earth's house before something struck them, a spear going right through their chest as Earth was walking out to greet them.

Needless to say... Earth barely had a chance to scream, something swiftly appearing behind her and striking her down just as quickly. Monty had run out, too late as he saw his girlfriend fall to the ground.

Monty, knowing to be sensible, instead ran back inside to call Sun and Moon. The perpetrator already having moved onto the next target.

Lunar had been warned by Gemini, and both were ready when Rez showed up. Or...as ready as an untrained and unofficial Astral and an Astral could be.

The battle didn't last long, a few minutes later, Gemini was too burnt out and tied up to get to Lunar in time to save him. Rez had already gone through with a portion of their plan.

Neither Lunar nor Gemini had enough time to acknowledge what was happening before oil started leaking from Lunar's chest, Gemini freezing up and Rez tilting their head out of what appeared to be amusement.

"Well... That ended a bit sooner than I had thought..." Rez spoke simply, Gemini staring blankly at Lunar's body as Sun and Moon showed up with Jack.

Needless to say... Rez got his ass kicked by Gemini while Moon watched everything and Jack retrieved Lunar's body so that they could repair him later. Perhaps, though, with a few...issues...

Earth was fixed not long after, yet again the two had new bodies. Taurus brought Nebula's body back to the Astral's, so they could give them the equivalent of an Astral funeral. (I imagine this as them being scattered into stardust until they can reform again, honestly... Kinda funky-)

< My only requested parameter for this one-shot was "Angst", enough to make them cry. So, of course, I put my mediocre writing skills to the test and went on crack, so pretty sure this is more laughable :D >
