I admit, his act of service flattered me. My friends asked me non-stop after that incident. I ended up telling them with full details so they won't misunderstand me and jump into conclusions that I'm dating this guy. I thought they would stop bothering me about him, but they did not."Uyyyyy Chris!" Dani shouted while we were standing in the queue for the Love knot to set up Pia, but when I turned my head I saw 'Boy Liga' instead. Yes, Boy Liga because I met him during the Liga. Today was the school Intramurals, and booths are everywhere.
I immediately left her and went to the gymnasium even though it was too crowded. Lokong yun!
And worst! They set me up for a love knot with him!!!! I was peacefully painting on some random student's forehead when...
He smirked.
"Kunwari ka pa, gusto mo naman."
My brows furrowed. Hindi ko gusto ang sinabi niya. "Sinong nag set up nito?"
"Sige na, sumama ka na." Is he not aware that he sounded like a kidnapper?
"Teka, sino—" before I could finish my statement, another pair of seniors brought Boy Liga in front of me. I knew it!
"Ano? The senior said. He has a point, but I hate the way he said it to me.
"So, kapag pangit okay lang na tumanggi?" inis kong tanong and they went silent, but it didn't last because they laughed again.
"Ikaw lang ang nagsabi niyan." My face heated up with annoyance!
This Love-knot was so lame that it just felt like I was walking in my backyard. No offense dito sa kasama ko, but we have no spark at all. Pagkatapos naming maglakad in public nang magkahawak-kamay, he turned to me and smiled.
You seemed uncomfortable kanina," he said. Oh, conyo pala to? I'm glad he noticed.
"Yeah," I awkwardly laughed. "I'm not used to holding hands in public."
"Ganun ba..." aniya at natahimik kami sandali. I was composing my last reply to him, but he spoke again. "Pwede mo ba akong samahan sa canteen? Kung ayos lang? My treat. "
"Wow, haha...really?"
I can feel others staring at us while we're walking. Maybe, this guy is popular judging from how girls looked at him as we passed by.
I just said. Nakakahiya naman kung magdemand ako.
"Okay, dyan ka lang." He told me to wait on the bench and he ordered for us. It was noisy here, so I entertained myself by looking at the bulletin board. There are few announcements written on there, including the list of the students running for SSG officers. Then I saw his face there on the poster, so I stood up. His name was written below his picture.
