Unexpected Way

AURORA'S POV~

Water pouring throughout the dark clouds in a aggressive way.Seems like it's pouring it's grief,agony, most importantly it's purifying the dirty earth.My gaze just stuck to the massive glass beside my body where i seated comfortablely.Raindrops sliding down to the glass making it hard for me to enjoy the view.

It's june month in new york city,season of monsoon which i love the most.Bringing the coffee mug to my lips,taking a long satisfying sip.Drinking coffee in monsoon season is literelly the best combination i ever think.

I took glances around my surrounding,watching my colleagues gossiping and giggling.I exhaled a long sigh when i heard them back mouthing one of our superior.Them and their so called gossips has never ending saga.

I scrunched my nose as they were getting too loud and noisy.Oh my gosh,can't they keep quite for this half hour of time,they are just like headache in our damn head.It's break time,time for relaxation.I turn my head away from them,watching other side of the cafeteria.

I zip up my dark green jacket,under i wore a brown turtle neck top.Taking the phone i stood up abruptly,i can feel their gaze shift on me as all of them shut their mouth.But who cares.while walking out,i could heard them murmuring about me.

Walking through the hallway I tied my blonde hairs into low ponytail.A low whimper leave from my mouth when someone jerk my shoulder from behind,titling my head i watch her laughing like an complete idiot.

Sensing my glare she slowly gulp down her laugh,linking her arm with mine forcefully.Rolling my eyes I let out a heavy sigh.she always does this whenever she gets the chance.

Aura,what with this look huh?Seems like someone is having bad day hmm! She wiggled her brows as i narrowed my eyes watching her sharply.

Come on aura,you can't be this rude right?atleast don't give me this kind of looks please! a normal person will get a heart attack by seeing your single stare! She whine like a kid when she didn't get any response from me.well what to response.She is really pain in ass but not that much.

I stop walking turning to her crossing my arms above my chest,she tilt her head trying to read my mind.Soon a playful grin appears to her face.

I see,you want something from me,don't you?Tell me what you want! She smiles widely showing her dimples.I step closer to her making the eye contact,she immediately step back in defence.

Lifting my both hands i point them on her body then at mine making a cross sign above my chest.She giggled loudly before jumping on me,making my body hit with the cold wall,not so harshly.

Sorry aura,but i can't stay away from you because you need me and you can't deny that my sweetheart! I sigh in defeat as i know she was right.I needed her,after all she is the one here who understand my every unspoken words.

Elijah,one of the best reporter in this office.She is here with me since two years.Even though she is working here since 4 years.

I nod,slightly pushing her away from me.she grab my wrist pulling me with her as we both take turn to left side,stepping inside the elevator she pushed off the ground botton.I lean with the cold metal crossing my arms as she also does the same as mine,mother of copycat.

Aura, so are you ready for tonight? She smirk while blowing on her nails,I just nod firmly.A wave of excitement rushed through my whole body.Yes,too excited for the task,task of revealing some spicy news.

She about to open her mouth but stop when the door open with the ting sound.I exit from there followed by her..
