AUTHOR'S POV
"Please, please stay away. Don't hurt me." Said a 12 year old girl to a man in his early 40s.
"Who will save you today? Vikram is not here anymore. No one can protect you from me now." Said the man.
"Please don't touch me. I won't ever speak rudely to that auntie , but please leave me." The girl begged.
But the man was not listening to her cries, and was just coming closer to her. The girl started shivering with every step the man was taking towards her.
"Shivji, please protect me only you can save me now." The girl said in her mind and started praying to her Mahadev.
It was a very dark room and the 12 year old girl was getting more scared looking at the silhouette of the man moving towards her.

Ayaan's sleep, got disturbed by some sounds. He woke up and looked towards the sleeping Aishna , who was sweating badly. She was murmuring something which was inaudible. Ayaan got up from the couch and started going towards Aishna.
"Please stay away." he heard Aishna repeatedly saying these words.
He started to wake Aishna up. When he saw her in such a bad condition, he realised that maybe she is having a bad nightmare.
"Aishna wake up. It's just a nightmare , wake up."
Finally, Aishna woke up. She was crying and looked at Ayaan and hugged him.
"Please save me, save me from him." She kept on repeating these words, hugging Ayaan.
"It's dark, it's so dark." She said and Ayaan realised that maybe she is getting scared of dark and turned on the lamp light.
Ayaan was shocked to see Aishna in such state. He consoled her in the best way, caressing her back until she calms down.
"Shhh, it's okk. I am here , no one will hurt you. Bachaa stop crying."
Finally, Aishna came in her senses and calmed down. She noticed that she is hugging Ayaan.
"I'm sor-
But before she can speak further, Ayaan placed his finger on her lips.
"You don't have to be sorry. The nightmare was not your fault. It can happen with anyone, and I'm glad that I was here to calm you down." He said
He checked the time and it was 3 AM in the morning. It's just been half an hour since they slept.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked
"Quite better" she replied
Ayaan offered her a glass of water but she was holding Ayaan's shirt tightly thinking that maybe he will disappear if she left him. So Ayaan helped her to drink water from his hand.
"You should sleep now" he said and was going to get up from the bed but noticed that Aishna is still holding his shirt tightly. He looked at her and gestured with his eyes towards her hand.
"Can you please sleep on the bed? It's a new place and a new room. It's really difficult for me to sleep alone." She said.
"I won't go anywhere, and if you're comfortable, then I can sleep on bed." He replied.
