She hurriedly deleted the text from her bestfriend phone, her heart racing with the worry that her best friend might see it.

It wasn’t that she wanted to keep secrets, but the message was too personal, too vulnerable to share just yet.

She hoped her best friend would remain oblivious to it.

On the other side

The scene shifted as she found herself comfortably nestled in her room, absorbed in a book.

( to the people who don't know it's the girl who fainted )

The peaceful silence was abruptly interrupted by the insistent ring of the doorbell.

She marked her place, set the book aside, and made her way to the door, curiosity piquing with each step.

The late hour made her wonder who could possibly be visiting her at this time.

It couldn’t be her best friend—she was out of the city for a few more days, leaving her to question the identity of this unexpected visitor.

With a sense of anticipation, she opened the door.

Her eyes were immediately drawn to the sight of a bouquet of roses, and her heart skipped a beat.

She was momentarily shocked into silence, her mind racing to understand the situation.

As the initial surprise wore off, she took the bouquet from the visitor's hands and looked up to see who was standing there. And then, the recognition hit her with a wave of emotions.

It was him.

The very person who was her peace, her life, her love.

A gasp escaped her lips.

“You? When did you return? Didn’t you say you would come back after two months?” She was caught between astonishment and elation.

Seeing him there, so unexpectedly, was a mix of joy and disbelief.

He smiled, his expression one of genuine happiness, and his dimple made an appearance.

“Someone said she was missing me so much, so I had to come back early,” he said, his voice warm and filled with affection.

She tried to maintain her playful composure, though her heart was fluttering with happiness.

“Really? So who was it that was missing you so much, hmm?” she asked, her eyebrow raised in a teasing manner, struggling to keep a straight face.

His gaze softened as he looked at her, his eyes brimming with love and adoration.

“Someone that I love a lot and miss so much. My love of life,” he said, his voice tender and sincere.

Her heart melted at his words, and a smile spread across her face.

“Okay, okay, now come inside, or will you keep standing outside?” She laughed, her eyes sparkling with affection as she motioned for him to enter.

He stepped inside, and she closed the door behind him, feeling a wave of warmth and contentment enveloping her.

The room seemed to glow a little brighter now, with his presence filling the space in a way that only he could.

She led him to the living room, her steps light with excitement.

“I can't believe you're here,” she said, her voice soft and filled with wonder.

“I was so caught off guard. I thought I had at least another month before I’d get to see you.”

He chuckled, taking her hand in his.

“I missed you too much to wait. I wanted to surprise you, and it seems I succeeded.”

She squeezed his hand, feeling the comforting warmth of his touch.

“You definitely did. I was starting to get used to your absence, but now that you're here, it feels like everything is right again.”

He glanced around the room, noting the cozy setup that was so distinctly hers.

“I like what you’ve done with the place. It feels so... you.”

She smiled at his approval.

“Thank you. I’ve been keeping busy, trying to stay occupied. But there’s something different about having you here. It feels like home.”

They settled onto the couch, and she handed him a cup of tea she had prepared earlier.

They talked and laughed, catching up on the days they had spent apart.

Each moment felt precious, each word a reminder of the deep connection they shared.

As they reminisced about their favorite memories and made plans for the future, the hours seemed to slip away unnoticed.

The evening grew late, but neither of them felt the weight of time.

They were too engrossed in each other’s company, relishing the joy of being reunited.

Eventually, she stood and stretched, her eyes twinkling with affection.

“Let’s get some rest. You must be tired from your journey.”

He stood as well, drawing her into a gentle embrace.

“Yes, but it’s been worth every minute. I wouldn’t have missed this for anything.”

They walked to the guest room together, where he would stay for the duration of his visit.

She made sure he was comfortable and then lingered by the door, reluctant to part even for a moment.

He turned to her, his eyes reflecting the same sentiment.

“Goodnight, my love. I’m so glad to be here with you.”

“Goodnight,” she replied softly. “Sweet dreams.”

As she closed the door and made her way back to her room, she felt a deep sense of contentment.

The surprise visit, the warmth of his presence, and the shared laughter had brought a sense of completion to her life.

It was as if the universe had aligned perfectly, bringing them together just when they needed each other most.

With a final glance at the bouquet of roses, which she had set on the table as a reminder of this special moment, she settled into bed.

Her heart was light, and her dreams were filled with the promise of a bright and joyful future together.

And so, the night unfolded, wrapped in the gentle embrace of love and the promise of countless more moments like this one.
