I was sitting in the study room, surrounded by stacks of books and notes, trying to study for my exam. But my mind kept drifting back to her. We were following our own paths in different parts of the World, pursuing our dreams, but our love remained strong.

Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from her. "Hey, how's school going?" she asked.

"It's been a wild ride," I replied. "Lectures have been exhausting. I feel like I'm drowning in notes and textbooks."

"I get it," she said. "I've been struggling to keep up too. But I'm managing. How about you? Did you survive today's lectures?"

"Barely," I said with a chuckle. "But I have to admit, my mind kept wandering during class."

"Oh yeah? What were you thinking about?" she asked, playfully.

"Well, let's just say I was reliving some of our phone calls," I said with a smirk. "The romantic moments we shared had me blushing in class."

"Haha, nice!" she said. "I'm glad I could distract you from your studies."

"You have no idea," I said. "I was trying to focus on the professor, but all I could think about was your voice, your giggle, and your smile. I had to stifle my grins so many times."

"Aww, that's sweet," she said. "I'm glad I'm on your mind. But don't get too distracted, okay? You need to pass those exams!"

"Don't worry, I'll try to focus," I said. "But it's hard when all I can think about is you."

"Hey, enough about school," I said. "Have you noticed how expensive everything's getting lately?"

"Ugh, tell me about it," she replied. "It's hard to even afford three meals a day now."

"I know, right?" I said. "Feels like I'm paying gourmet prices for instant noodles."

"Seriously!" she laughed. "Grocery shopping feels like I'm dining at a fancy restaurant, except without the nice atmosphere."

"Sometimes I wish I were a billionaire," I said. "Then I could have a chef just to make my breakfast cereal."

"And a butler to pour the milk," she joked.

"Exactly!," I said. "And maybe someone to taste-test my coffee to make sure it's just right."

"It would be nice to eat out without worrying about the bill," she said.

"And vacations?" I asked. "If I were rich, I'd be sipping cocktails on a private island right now."

"And free time?" I asked. "If I were in charge, I'd be enjoying a private concert by my favorite artist right now."

"Ha! The luxury," she said. "Instead, I'm here, trying to decide which streaming service to prioritize this month."

"Or debating whether to treat myself to a fancy coffee," I added.

"If we were in charge, we'd have unlimited resources, travel the world, and never worry about budgets," she said.

"And we'd still find a way to spend some of that budget on more music festivals," I joked.

We both burst out laughing.

"It's good to laugh about it," I said. "Things are tough, but at least we've got each other to joke around with."

"Absolutely," she agreed. "We'll get through this, one laugh at a time."

As our conversation drew to a close, I couldn't help but glance at the clock and was surprised to see how late it had gotten.

"I really should get back to studying," I said with a hint of reluctance, knowing that exams were looming the next day.

"Yeah, good luck with that," she replied, her voice filled with encouragement. "Don't let those books overwhelm you – take breaks and breathe!" I smiled, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders. "Thanks, I'll try. Talk to you later," I said, already looking forward to our next conversation.

"Goodnight," she replied, her voice soft and soothing. "And remember, if all else fails, just imagine you're a billionaire – it's amazing how a little imagination can make things seem brighter!" We shared one last laugh before saying our goodbyes.

As I put my phone down and turned back to my notes, I couldn't shake off the feeling of lightness that our conversation had brought me. Even with the stress of exams hanging over me, thoughts of her made everything seem a little more manageable, a little more hopeful.

I found myself smiling as I delved back into my studies, feeling grateful for the distraction and the joy that our conversation had brought me.

As I delved into my study material, I found myself chuckling at the silly jokes we had shared, and my imagination ran wild with visions of a life of luxury, where I had a personal chef to prepare my cereal and a butler to pour my milk.

It was a ridiculous fantasy, but it brought a much-needed levity to the endless pages of notes and textbooks that seemed to stretch on forever. Every so often, I'd catch myself grinning from ear to ear at the memory of her playful banter, and the way she could effortlessly turn even the most mundane conversation into a hilarious exchange.

I tried to focus on the complex formulas and theories in front of me, but my mind kept wandering back to the sound of her laughter, and the way she could somehow make even the most stressful day seem a little brighter, a little more manageable. I took a deep breath and refocused on my studies, determined to get through the long night ahead. But no matter how deeply I buried myself in my books, she was never far from my thoughts, and that realization brought a sense of comfort and joy that made all the difference.

Her presence in my mind was a constant reminder that there was more to life than just studying, and that thought alone made the task at hand seem less daunting.
