Chapter 001 Party Animals ──────────────────
One Week Later . . . Solana & Logan's Earth
Solana knew she was pretty, but she felt fucking amazing in her new dress.
The black silk complemented her curves so well that she felt she could be the hottest girl in any damn room. Even if she didn't strive to impress anyone, she felt strong knowing she had that power. She ran her hands down her sides, looking into her and Logan's full- length mirror to make sure she was on point.
She turned around, body facing the glass, and checked her makeup once more. A tint of red was visible on her lips, as was the blush on her soft cheeks. She popped her lips one last time before cleaning the excess gloss on the corners, then fluffing her hair for extra volume.
Logan had promised she would have fun that night, as he was taking her out for a romantic dinner...but, that wasn't exactly the case. He was going to do much more and make her the happiest woman on Earth.
He was the main contributor to the surprise party he was taking her to. He managed to get in contact with family Solana hadn't seen in years, so they could come to the states and be apart of her best birthday party in her life. Her mother, father, tíos y tias, primos, and more family she would be ecstatic to hug and kiss.
After making some minor adjustments, she grabbed her matching black purse off the dresser beside her, and headed to the living room. Her black heels had ties and complemented the dress with utter ease.
When Solana was in eyeshot of Logan and Nikki, they looked at her in astonishment. She wrapped her hands together and rocked herself from one side to the other, and blushed from the attention.
"How do I look?"
Logan face was tinted, and he coughed, hesitating his words being that Nikki was right there. "I know what I want to say, but—"
"Nikki, go in the other room." Solana read Logan's mind and motioned her head to the hallway behind her.
Without warning, Nikki hugged her mother, who was about six inches taller than she usually was, resulting to her hugging her hips instead of her torso.
"You look gorgeous, mom."
Solana beamed. Her daughter was too kind, and it always amazed her. She held her tight before letting go and heading to her bedroom.
"Is she gone?" Logan asked as he looked behind Solana. Then, her door creaked, and it shut.
"Yeah." The girl nodded before holding in a gigantic smile.
