Guilty

"Please brother dont be a demon!" Nezuko Kamado cries softly as her brother keep bitting her shoulders. He was a demon now and even then there was no way of stopping it.

Everyone lost conscious due to the loss of blood and the crew member was there to patch them up, only leave the young demon and the hashira who was the only one to put a stop to it.

Mitsuri Kanroji somehow managed to become a demon at one point and thus able to survived from the battle against Muzan.

She feels gulity because she did grew stronger by eating majority of demons but also a few humans.

Mitsuri felt worst because she eat not only an upper rank but also her best friend/hashira Shinobu Kocho.

In order to defeat the upper moon once and for all.

She sighs. She rushed to Nezuko's aid and she gasp tearfully "Mitsuriii" she sobs "No one can help him anymore, the medicine is the only one we had and he slash at Kanao, and it broke" she kept holding him "If this keeps up then we all be in danger" she added.

"Right" She mumbles recalling the time she devoured Shinobu as part of Shinobu's plan.

"Avenge us Mitsuri" Shinobu's hand gently touched the older demon's slightly pale face "I promise you get stronger by eating me and able to defeat that upper moon" she added smiling sadly.

Mitsuri was holding the dying hashira with tears streaming down her face. "Its going to be hard without you.." she whispers tearfully as Nezuko was weeping silently. Kanao looked emotional watching the depressing scene.

"I no we will avenged  you" Mitsuri said with Shinobu gave them all a bloody smile  "Thank you everyone.." she whispers her last words "i love you all" she said. Mitsuri gave her first and last kiss before she did the unforgettable.

*CRACK*

Shinobu's body became limp as her hand dropped her sword. Mitsuri quickly took her haori off and place it down on the floor alongside her sword before she begin to absorbing her.

Kanao couldnt bare seeing her sister being absorbed by a demon, but she had to..for her own sake, to get closure of her death.

Nezuko was weeping silently as she kept wiping her pink eyes. She then went to Mitsuri's side as she turned the hashira's face to face her. There was tears glisten, but they didnt fall however.

"Nezu.." she whisper softly before the demon kiss her. Mitsuri looked suprised before she close her eyes. They broke apart, slightly panting while silence endured.

"Thanks Nezu..I needed something to take my mind off even for a moment" Mitsuri mumbles as she gently smiles at the younger demon.

Kanao smiles for a moment before her smile faded away.

Back to the matter at hand.

"Goodbye Shinobu" Nezuko mumurred patting the former pillar's head while Kanao whispers "Goodbye nii-san. Tell nii-chan that I sent my hellos" before Shinobu's head was finally absorbed, just leaving the butterfly clip into Mitsuri's hands.

*BUUUUURRRRRPPPP*

A purple butterfly escape her lips.

Kanao stiffened, realizing what this meant. 

Shinobu has been devoured by Mitsuri.

It broke Kanao's heart, but she ultimately had to keep it together until the war is finally over.

Free of demons.

"So delicious" Mitsuri mumbles softly as she still holding the butterfly clip "Sorry that was demon side of me talking" she admitted. 

Both girls just stood there with sadness in their eyes, Kanao's eye was competely in tears, completely heartbroken about her dead adoptive sisters.

Mitsuri was weeping softly.

It wasnt easy, losing someone that they cared and loved so much.

Hopefully, they dont have to do something like this again.

Or so they thought...

Back to present

"Mitsuri look out!" Nezuko cries as her brothers nearly slashed them using his whips. God even without the medicine..he much more dangerous than any other demons, especially he surepass Muzan thats for sure.

"You have to stop him please Mitsuri" Nezuko beg "Even if it means losing him in the process" she added softly only for Mitsuri to hear.

Mitsuri knew what that look and talk implied. 

She had no choice but to end it.

For everyone's sake especially Tanjiro who doesnt need to suffer anymore than he should be.

Mitsuri hugged him tightly "Please forgive me what im about to do to you" she whispers and felt him stop attacking her.

Mitsuri kissed him before pulling away and he just gave her confusing looks as she hugged him.

"Please forgive me Tan"she said softly as he felt himself limp.

"Please save me" he choked in a teary voice "Take care of my sister and tell her that big brother loves her dearly" Mitsuri nods "Yes" she whispers tearfully.

*CRACK*

Tanjiro became limp and Mitsuri begin immediately absorbing him.

"Thank you for saving my brother Mitsuri" she said softly as she watch the entire scene with such sadness in her eyes.

Tanjiro head was absorbed and he was no more.

*BUUUUURRRRRPPPPPP*

"Delicious" she mumbles as she hugged the younger demon "Im sorry Nezu" she apologized to her as she nods her head.

"Dont be. You ended up saving my brother in a way" she said with tears in her eyes "Your my hero" she added.

Mitsuri weep silently as she was still hugging Nezuko.

This broke both of them and both of them knew it.

Mitsuri feels guilty.
