My Abomination

Chapter 1.

This is it.. The day of the science fair.. Everyone has been rushing around, every single day, experimenting and creating their projects for the science fair.. 

At first, I had no clue what to create.. My mind had gone completely empty, like all my thoughts just got up and walked away.. Until my friend, Mike, had thought of something that we could work on together! I didn't know how we would even make it or where to start off. But, it was a great idea!!

Mike had suggested creating some sort of potion! Maybe a potion to give you powers? or keep you young forever..? We weren't sure at all..

"Hey, Adam! I have an idea!"
Mike said with confidence in his voice..

"Another idea?"
I asked, puzzled..
Mike had another idea? Is he like a dictionary of ideas now? He has, so far, had 7 different ideas..
"What is it? Is it about the potion thing or something different?"

Mike looked at me and smiled.
"Well.. I was thinking, for the potion, to make it like.. a minecraft potion! Like.. a potion that gives you strength, night vision, water breathing.."

I raised an eyebrow, a minecraft potion? Thank god his video game knowledge had finally come in handy..
"Oh, that's not a bad idea.."
I looked down at the floor, thinking about Mike's idea..

"You think we could manage it? The easiest one I can think of making would be a potion of invisibility.. maybe.."
Mike said, putting a hand behind his head.

"Invisibility? That sounds tricky.. you think it'll be easy!?"
I said, with my eyes wide and my hands on my hips.

[A few hours later.. Me and Mikey had begun to plan how we would make the potion.. it was difficult at first, but then mikey had another idea. To Google it.. but I didn't think that was going to help at all..
Soon after, we started collecting and mixing things into a big metal bowl.. then the substance in the bowl turned green.. A bright lime green that looked like poison from a Disney movie..
A little while after that, i wanted to play a little trick on Mikey.. but it definitely.. went wrong..]

"Hey Mike.. I'll give you £20 if you drink some of the potion!"
I said confidently, trying to hide my laughter.

Mike looked at me and smiled confidently.
"£20? Bet."
Mike picked up a test tube and scooped up some of the lime substance..

"Are you actually going to drink it..?"
I said, a little scared.. there's no way Mike would drink it.. It's a weird, poison looking, lime juice chemical potion..

Mike put the test tube up to his mouth, ready to drink the substance..

"Wait! I was joking!"
I started panicking, but it was a little too late..
My eyes widened in shock.. Mikey, actually drank it..
