After a long night and way too many drinks. I woke up to my phone dinging it was Madison telling me she was outside. I grabbed my stuff and left Jaden a nice note for once he woke up I quietly left out the door and got into Madison's car she turned down the music.
"Hey, how was it? ". Madison asked,
"It was fine nothing happened lol ". I replied.
Madison handed me her phone I looked down my eyes scanning the caption of the post from Hollywood Fix. " wtf? ". I spoke
"Wait, I'm confused I didn't even know- ". I said giving Madison back her phone and going into my phone to text Jaden.

After Texting with Jaden. I put my phone to the Bluetooth so I could surprise Madison with a new song that I was putting out. I played the song and laid my phone on my lap my eyes reached over as her eyes lit up. " is this new? ". Madison asked
I nodded and we listened to it while pulling up to my apartment. I hugged Madison before getting out of the car. " I love you I'll call you later ". I said before closing the car door and going inside. I asked the maintenance man if could he unlock my door. Once he did I walked inside put my purse on the table and went to flop on my couch my phone started ringing.

I pressed accept on the call because it was Vinnie. " Hey ". He said over the phone. " hi Vinnie ". I replied.
" what are you doing?". Vinnie asked
"Nothing just got home, I'm taking you seen the post". I said,
"Yeah pey just making you sure okay ". Vinnie said
"No, yeah I'm okay". I replied smiling
"Okay, well I'm coming over tmr love you ". Vinnie said,
"Love you too," I said, hanging up the phone to take a shower. I washed my hair as the hot, steaming water fell onto my body. I got out as someone was knocking on my door, so I wrapped a towel around me to go answer it. " who is it? ". I said,
"It's Jaden ". He replies
" oh um okay let me just get changed ". I replied running into my room to throw a hoodie on and put shorts on I ran back out and opened the door. " Hey, come in sorry for the wait ". I said opening the door wider and watching him walk in.
" I wanted to come and apologize for the post ". Jaden said,
" Yeah, totally it's fine ik I'm not a homewrecker so ". I replied
As I and Jaden began to talk my phone started to ring it was my manager. I answered the phone and walked into my room. " Hey, Veronica ". I say
"Hey, pey... I got bad news ". She replied.
" um okay, what is it ". I replied.
" the label is dropping you ". She says
"Wait what- why? ". I replied in disbelief.
"There's a new CEO and they feel like you're not their strongest artist anymore ". she replied
"Okay well about my song I can keep those, right? " I asked,
"No, since they own them ". she says
" I'm so sorry pey ". she said hanging up the call. I sat my phone on the floor and cried into my lap when someone knocked on my door it was Jaden.
"Hey, you alright? ". He asked.
" yeah, I'm fine ". I replied
" somethings wrong ". he said
"Fine, well my label just dumped me and they keep all the songs I've written since I was 16 ". I cried. " that's fucked up I'm sorry Peyton ". Jaden replied I laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me.
" I don't what else to do, music is all I have ". I said,
"We'll find another record company and make more music ". Jaden replied.
" Thanks, ". I replied
Time passed by and I finally hugged Jaden as he left out the door. I walked over to my couch and sat down thinking about what I was going to do about this " Label Drop " situation I started humming my favorite song Hey There Delilah by plain white Ts then this idea popped into my head. Making a cover I ran to my room and grabbed my guitar setting my phone up on the table propping it up on a candle.
I began to strum on the guitar. " Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City I'm a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty yes you do ". I sang." Times Square can't shine as bright as you, I swear it's true ". I finished singing the verse.
20 minutes later I finished the song and ended the video by editing it on my laptop to post it on my YouTube tomorrow morning. after getting done I turned out my lights and watched TV in my living room falling asleep on the couch.
