DANTÉ

"Please stop!"

Danté showed no sign of mercy as the man, kidnapped from the agency, shouted.

Danté went to sit casually infront of the screaming agent. The deep slashes on his thigh bleeding and dripping to the floor.

"If you don't start talking soon, you're going to have a nice set of tally marks for each lie you tell, that's if you don't bleed out before then..." Danté said smirking. He had an animalistic look in his eyes.

He was set on finding this girl who killed his father.

He thought that it would be a pretty sick and twisted way of going out though.

Nikolai is helping Danté...knowing his daughter would eventually be killed.

They must have some history...

"I told you, I don't know anything. I barely know her!"

Before Danté could retaliate, Riccardo came walking in and Danté heard his phone ring.

"Sorry for interrupting brother, Hiro's calling." Riccardo spoke firmly, holding the phone in his hand.

Danté frowned, Hiro never called out of the blue. They were only supposed to meet each other tomorrow, and he wouldn't cancel, would he?

Danté walked towards his brother and they both exited the room, the captured man yelling behind them.

"Good morning Hiro, what's the mat-" Danté barely started speaking before Hiro frantically started yelling on the other line.

"Danté, there's someone that came looki-"

Danté was still processing Hiro's words before he heard a crackling sound, as if the phone fell, and then muffled voices followed shortly.

"Hiro? Hello?" As Danté was talking he saw Riccardo trying to ask what's wrong and Danté shrugged, concerned.

Danté heard movement, footsteps, and then a pained yell rang through his ears.

"Danté! Help! Help m-"

"Hiro!? What's going on?" Danté was starting to worry. His first thought was that Hiro was busy being attacked, but Danté couldn't understand why or by who.

There was more whispering, closer to the phone, that sounded oddly feminine, then a noise that sounded like gagging until there were only quiet footsteps coming closer.

"Hello? Hiro? What's happening? Are you alright?" With the silence in the background, Danté honestly knew that, if it was indeed Hiro struggling, he was no more.

Danté heard more crackling, the phone being picked up.

A chilling, cold voice spoke to him.

"You're next, Cattaneo." Then there was only beeping.

"Hello? Hello!?" Danté's frown deepened as his heartbeat turned irregular.

"Danté? What happe-?" Riccardo couldn't finish his sentence before he had to quickly step aside as his brother flung his phone across the room.
