Chapter one Flashback

Frances POV

Flash back to 2014 .

I can never ever be more in love with my boyfriend ,Kevin ,he's 2 years older than me ,I am 20 . We've been dating for six years ,just recently I feel that somethings off about Kevin , ever since he came back from America ,he's totally changed , he's been quiet lately, I push the thought aside as I get ready for school.

" Good morning babe", says Kevin.
"What are you doing today?" he says ,
I replied, " Nothing babe , you ? ".
"No Iam really exhausted, I was wondering if we can maybe push our next weeks date to next month " Kevin , says kissing me in the forehead!.

I looked at him wondering if something was wrong , just as I was about to reply , " I mean I was just thinking of your finals coming up , I just want you to focus on your finals since it's the last lap" Kevin replied .
"Aww! How thoughtful, I was just thinking of my finals , so then next month would be wonderful , thanks, babe! " I replied .
Packing my school stuff , I gave Kevin a kiss on my way to school.

Leaving home thinking about what Kevin said to move our date , I was wondering to myself ,I have a great boyfriend , he's so thoughtful, I will surprise him by not going to school today.

Hmmmmm....... , what should I buy for him ,thinking to myself. I called my lecturer and told him I won't be going to school today . walking down to town, windows shopping ,as always, hahahahah, I saw this lovely watch. ohhhhh, that will be the best thank you gift .

I entered the shop , bought that watch , continued walking to the cake shop bought cake and some other stuff, if we can't have our date next week ,might as well today, then I can carry on with my study ! .

Smiling and being thrilled of surprising my boyfriend! I entered our apartment building as I entered , I heard conversation , ohhhh we have some visitors , I tip toed to surprise them , just as I was close to the living room, I heard Kevin's Dad speaking! " Does Frances know about your marriage to Layla?" I stopped ....my heart pounding , "I haven't dad, I can't break her heart dad, I know I don't love her anymore , I just don't want to hurt her, but I'll let her know today" replied Kevin.

"You have to Kevin ASAP ! , Layla and your unborn child is waiting for you in America , Iam sorry for forcing you to marry Layla but since you're the next heir to our business there's nothing we can do about it, Mr. Romero said.

Hearing all this made me angry, shocked hurt , all the stuff that I was holding fell down. I didn't bother about anything as I ran to the door . Upon hearing the fallen items , I heard Kevin running behind me, yelling out my name, Fran! Fran! I just don't want to see his face ,I kept running until I felt someone holding me and carrying me back to the apartment and to our room.

I was in shock as tears flowed down my cheek ! I couldn't see him , I just couldn't see the guy I love hurt me like this .
He held my cheek , turning me to face him , seeing tears in his eyes, I laughed and laughed hysterically! Kevin looked at me like I was possessed or something.

Before he could speak, I said, " Why are you crying like as if you're hurt, you're not, quit the bullshit you prick, bastard, Iam such a fool .... gosh ,"crying, I stated , "you fooled me, Kevin , kissing me in the morning like you aren't married .

How long have you been married to her ? I asked desperately.
His head down " six months," he replied . " 6 bloody months...." And you're telling me now gosh, ...Kevin," I replied angrily. I couldn't take it anymore, I stood up, packed my bags, and headed to the one only person Dominic, my best friend, the one and only I wanted to forget about since he was the first person that broke my heart years ago.
