Important Day/Day 17

No one's POV.

Day 17

After a week Cole finally leaves his room, making sure to get up really early. He heads to the kitchen and checks that Zane isn't there. He opens Spotify and plays his favorite playlist.

He opens the fridge, grabbing the ingredients he needs. He opens the cupboard above the fridge, to see a waffle maker. "Knew we had one." He says with a smile. If he was going to be stuck here, might as well work on his cooking.

He followed the instructions on the box, adding eggs, oil, water, etc. when the batter was perfect he got out strawberries and chocolate chips. He washed and cut the strawberries into small chunks then put them in the batter along with chocolate chips.

"Perfect." He smiles. "I want to try having a good day today. So hopefully everything goes well. Atleast for today..." Cole said, in the normal timeline, it would be a special day. Cole felt a tear roll down his cheek and he laughed.

"She wouldn't want you crying, Cole." He said. He smiled as a couple more tears fell down his face. And continued to make the food.

Zane leaves his room and heads to the kitchen, stopping when he hears music. He walks in the kitchen to see Cole. "Good morning, Cole." He said. Cole jumped and turned around. "Good morning, my robot friend!" He said cheerfully. "Wow, Cole! You that excited for the museum?" Zane said.

"No. It's something else. You wouldn't understand. I'm probably not going to the museum. I have stuff planned." Cole explained as he took the last waffle off the waffle maker. "Can you go get everyone?" He asked with a bright smile.

Zane nodded and left. Kai walked in the kitchen. "Hey Zan- Cole?!" Kai shouted. "What are YOU doing!?"

"I'm making breakfast. Today is special." Cole said. "Ohhhh... the museum?" Kai asked. Cole shook his head and stayed silent. Kai was about to walk away before Cole turned to him. "Kai... do you think.... You could maybe stay behind with me?" Cole asked.

"From the museum?" Kai asked. Cole nodded, "We have plenty of time to go to the museum. Today is really special to me and I would like if you could accompany me."

Kai looked confused. "Okay. Sure. But one question, why me?" Kai asked. Cole smiled. "I feel like we're the most distant from each other, I would really like to know you better." Kai blushed. It sounded like Cole was asking him out.

"Okay then." Kai said. "Now go sit down! I'm making breakfast!" Cole scolded.

The ninja all sat down. They were skeptical of trying Cole's food, but when he set down the plate their mouths watered.

"Strawberry-Chocolate chip Waffles." Cole said. "I learned to make them after.." his voice trailed off, they were her favorite, and he shook his head. "It's something I've known how to make since forever." He said with a smile. He wanted to convince everyone.

Cole allowed them to try them and they immediately loved them. He ate 2 himself while everyone else had one. He had made an extra, but he ate it for the person since they really couldn't.
