Chapter 15 (final chapter)

Next five days were boys packing Sunghoon's things. It took a long time, because he had a lot of things.

When Jake was packing things in Sunghoon's room, he noticed something on the shelf. It was a diary. Without a lock.

Of course he was curious what is Sunghoon writing there.
He looked around making sure he's alone. Sunghoon was packing things in another room.

He opened the diary and read Silently.

Date: 7.3. 2024.

Today we got a new student. His name is Jake. Like, I know I was acting like a dickhead to him, and I acted like to a trash to him, but the boy... The boy is literally pretty. He's sweet and his eyes are so nice. I wish I could apologize for that, but there's no way back.

He looked at another page of the diary.

Date: 14.3. 2024

I honestly feel a pang of jealousy.
I don't know why, but I'm jealous on Jake. It seems like he's best friend with Heeseung, my ex bf.
They are so cute together, but what if they're dating or anything?! But there's no reason why to be jealous.
It's my fault Jake hates me.

Jake closed the diary when he heard some footsteps on the hallway and put it back on the shelf, acted like he didn't find anything and packed things.

But in his mind he was thinking about the diary pages. Sunghoon's words were so sweet.

Sunghoon appeared in the room.

"Hey"

Jake looked at him.

"Hey, what happened?"

Sunghoon looked around and he looked at the diary on the shelf.

"Nothing, I just need something. Sorry for bothering you."

He took the diary and left the room.

"Yeah boy, don't worry, I already read it."

Jake said to himself and closed all full boxes with stuff.

"Sunghooooooon, I'm done!"

He yelled.

"Okay! Hey Jake? Can you come here please?"

"Sure"

He ran to the living room when Sunghoon was. Sunghoon was holding a little jewelry box.

"Come here. I need to give you something."

Jake sit on the couch and Sunghoon next to him. He opened the jewelry box. There were two couple necklaces.

"Turn back please"

Jake did as he said. Sunghoon took one necklace and put the necklace on his neck.

"It's beautiful, Sunghoon. Where did you take it?"

Jake asked when Sunghoon put second necklace around his neck.

"My mom gave me that when I was teenager. About 16-18 years old. She told me I should give it to someone I love. And... It's you... Plus you can remember me through that when I'll be away."

Jake smiled and hugged him.

"I love you"

"Me too"

Said Sunghoon.

"C'mon, I'm flying away tomorrow. We both are done. We can go somewhere. Don't you want to?"

Jake nodded. They put on some coats, shoes and they went outside.

"Where do you want to go?"

Sunghoon asked.

"On a bridge please, I like it there"

Sunghoon smiled and took his hand and they made their way to the bridge. When they were there, Jake leaned on a railing and watched the river. Sunghoon did too.

"It's beautiful here, isn't it?"

Jake asked. Sunghoon smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, but you're more"

He chuckled.

"Heeeey, stop that"

Jake said with a playful smile. They were laughing together.

Jake looked around and saw someone.

"Sunghoon... Look there."

Sunghoon looked where Jake was pointing. There was Heeseung, but he wasn't alone. He was with a girl, boys knew the girl. It was Wonyoung. One of the most popular and most beautiful girls in the class. Heeseung was holding her hand and they were talking about something.

"Wow, he found a girlfriend? He's good"

Sunghoon said kinda jealousy, but he forgets that, because he still loves Jake so much. More than anything.

"Yeahh, but I think he deserves that. He's a nice boy, I would be surprised if he won't have someone."

"Yeahh, same."

Said Sunghoon and looked away from Heeseung and Wony. They were enjoying the last time together.

When it was evening, they went back. All Sunghoon's things were packed. Boxes were on the floor.

"I can't believe I'm leaving my own home."

Sunghoon said sadly.

"C'mon, I also couldn't believe that, but you'll get used to it in time... Once..."

Jake tried to comfort him.

"I know, don't worry"

Sunghoon smiled.

"I think I'll go to sleep. I'm very tired"

They both were to bed and fell asleep in each other's arms.

Next day Sunghoon had to go to airport sooner. Jake woke up earlier too, because he wanted to be with him until he'll fly away.

When they arrived there. Only 2 hours left.

"Jake... I'll be away soon, please remember I love you and sorry for everything I did to you. I was just blind and idiot. Please forgive me"

Sunghoon suddenly said when they were waiting.

"Sunghoon, I am not mad. It's alright."

He kissed him briefly. Sunghoon smiled.

They were talking, but suddenly they heard a woman's voice

"The plane to America. New York is flying away soon. Please get on the plane. Thank you"

Sunghoon looked at Jake with a sad face.

"Sorry baby, but..."

Jake's eyes almost tear up, but he controlled himself

"It's okay... I see."

They stood up. Sunghoon didn't want to leave, but he had to. Before he left he hugged him tight.

"Don't forget me. Remember I love you"

He whispered.

"Don't worry, I'll never forget you. Please, come back soon"

Jake whispered too. They pulled away.

"I have to go... Bye..."

He took his luggages and made his way to entrance.

Jake was waving at him all time.

When Sunghoon disappeared in the plane, Jake already missed him.

He knew he's not away forever, but he felt it. He turned back and left the airport. When he arrived home, he got a notification. It was from Sunghoon before he flew away.

"Jake, don't forget me. I want you to remember me all time. <3 I promise I'll be back soon. Your Sunghoon"
