Chapter 2 Cassiopeia POV

We were walking up to the Room of Requirement, when Luna stopped and looked at me.
"Cassi what about your arm? the carving?" she asked. I looked at it and waved my wand over it and it disappeared.
"I put a glamour on it no one will know" I said. We quickly walked to the RoR. Once we got there we quickly rehearsed what we were going to do and got into costume.
"Alright girls let's head down to the feast" Ginny said. She was wearing light blue jean shorts with a green tank top, and black tennis shoes. Luna was wearing medium blue denim jean shorts and a navy blue tank top, with grey tennis shoes. I was wearing dark jean shorts and a black tank top, with white tennis shoes. We walked all the way to the great hall.
We could hear the welcoming speech and the first year sorting. After it was done Dumbledore started the speech on the triwizard tournament. While we were waiting. A guy from Durmstrang came up to us.
"Vat school are you vrom? he asked.
"Rosewood academy in america" Ginny answered.
"vhy don't you hav an American accent?" he asked.
"well we have been here the whole summer and got used to it and started speaking" I said. He nodded his head and walked away. Dumbledore then called out.
"Durmstrang".
They got in order and walked forward after they were out of earshot.
"they never do anything else! Is that the same routine they always do!" Ginny asked.
"yes Ginny" we answered.
"are y'all ready" I asked. "Get in formation" I said. It was Ginny on my left and Luna on my right.
"Rosewood Academy" I quickly turned my hair black. Ginny walked in first you could hear gasping. Luna went next there was a lot of gasping. I went in some girl screamed another fainted. I smirked. But most of all there was a lot more gasping. Luna and Ginny were standing in formation when I got there, I got in my spot and waited.
"these girls have been in war. Many wars. They stand to protect us. They fight even when their family is gone. They should be treated with respect and honor, because with out these three girls we wouldn't be standing here today" he finished."Now the sorting" he said.
"Ginny Quince" Minerva said. Ginny sat on the stool.
" Ah yes I know where to put you...Gryffindor" the hat said. The hat speaks to everyone out loud!
"Luna Smith" she said. Luna sat on the stool.
"Ah you are very intelligent but you have more courage than a Weasley" the hat said.
"Gryffindor" it yelled.
"Cassiopeia Mathis" she said. I walked over to the stool and sat down. She then placed the hat on me.
"Ahh a Riddle" my eyes widened. No. Dumbledore's goblet fell onto the floor.
"Don't call me that" I hissed.
"but why not embrace your family" it said.
"I left for a reason" I said.
"Ahh you ran away and went to mrs. Quince's house didn't you. Ahh your mom doesn't care all she does is yell and scream and wanted you to join the Death eaters but you chose to run away and fight against your father" it said my eyes turned red.
"and erased their memory's so they won't remember you, how brave. You could of chosen to follow your father, but you chose to fight for what's right. Its should be.. Gryffindor" it yelled. Ginny and Luna were waiting for me on the stage. We were walking to the table when Dumbledore stopped us.
"um ladies is that your school uniform?" Ginny snapped her fingers and her clothes changed. She was wearing an Aerosmith t-shirt and skinny jeans with black tennis shoes. Luna snapped her fingers and her clothes changed. She was wearing a rolling stones t-shirt and skinny jeans and white tennis shoes. I snapped my fingers and my clothes changed. I wore an ac/dc t-shirt, flare jeans. Boots that buckled up to my knee. I snapped my fingers again and my leather jacket appeared, I put it on.
"this is our uniforms. Deal with it or don't. I for one do not have the misfortune of caring" I said and walked to the end of the table.
"yes I was informed of your uniforms. I will need mr's Potter, Sirius Black, And Lupin to come to my office after you are done eating. Also would Mrs's Ginny, Cassiopeia, and Luna come to my office. May the feast begin" he said. We were eating when a girl with long red hair and almond green eyes came and stood in front of us.
"yes?" I asked. She smirked.
"I am Lilly Evans. Gryffindor princess. And head girl" she stretched out princess and head girl. I stood up and smirked.
"Cassi no" Ginny warned. The hall went silent.
"no? Why not? I am just going to introduce my self" I smirked she sighed. "Hello mrs. Gryffindor princess. Let me introduce my self. I am THE Slytherin princess. I may not be in Slytherin but a bit of information don't get on my bad side. You know I heard from a bunch of professors that you were the brightest witch of the year. That won't last. Now mrs. Head girl why don't you go and leave Me alone" I said in a fake sweet tone.
"Ugh you cannot talk that way to me I Am the head girl!" she yelled.
"yes And I am Cassiopeia that's Luna and Ginny" I said slowly as if talking to a 4 year old.
"UGH!" she huffed and stalked off.
I sat back down. Ginny hit me upside the head.
"Oi what was that for!" I whispered furiously.
"that is Harry's mum" she said.
"That. I heard she was the sweetest thing ever. That is not" I said.
"Come on let's go" Luna said.
"first day here and we already make fool of our selves" Luna said.
"Hey I take that as a complex remark" I said.
"that doesn't make since" she yelled as she left the hall.
"I just made it make since" I ran after her.
"You all are mental" Ginny mumbled and ran after me.
