10 years earlier:
Rachel walked down the aisle. Her long trained skirt dragged across the floor layered with red carpet. Beautiful rose petals cascade across the floor, as the crystal chandelier glistened, the light from the stained glass windows reflecting on to the shards, scattering colorful light specs all around the room.
Rachel was beautiful. Her white lace dress fit her perfectly, the jewel embellished veil frames her face, covering just enough. In her hands was a gorgeous bouquet with dozens of pink and white flowers. Long silk ribbons wrapped it selves delicately around her waist and fall softly along the floor as she walked.
Her smile was bright and hopeful, the veil was covering her partially but you could feel the warm aura of a woman about to be wed.
I sat quietly. I sat patiently. The best thing in Rachel's life was about to happen.
I didn't know if I could handle it.
Two little girls walked behind Rachel, throwing flowers everywhere.
The audience watched in anticipation, some shedding tears.
The groom stood at the end, waiting for his bride lovingly with a gleam in his eyes.
...
Finally, after much expectation, the bride reached the altar.
The groom stepped forward a bit, gently lifting the veil. The two lock eyes and smile.
They held hands as the officiant began speaking. They exchanged vows. And now, it was the point of no return.
"Do you, Percy, take Rachel to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
...
"Do you, Rachel, take Percy to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
...
. .
.
"I OBJECT!!"
