"Lefty, you're scratched!" Freddy called out worriedly.

"Look, on the back of your head."

Lefty turned and stared at Freddy.

Lefty said. "Why do you care?"

"You are one of us, aren't you?"

"...The others don't seem to think so."

Foxy glared at Lefty from behind the curtains, and Chica, on guard on stage, crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows.

"I don't care what happens to me. As long as the children are safe, that's all that matters."

Freddy said. "No! You have to take care of yourself."

He has been worried. Lefty glared at him.

"No matter how good you are, if your body is damaged, you will worry the children."

Freddy puffed out his chest and said "That's why we're always so shiny."

Lefty sighed for him.

"Let's go to the maintenance room! and Freddy will make it shine you!"

Freddy said and pulled Lefty. He was dragged away, not bothering to resist.

Lefty, shiny and clean from the dust after the maintenance.

"Why are you bothering me?"

"Why? You're one of Freddy's band!"

"Just because we look alike doesn't make us the same."

Freddy answered happily, but his round ears wilted at the cold-hearted Lefty's words.

"Oh...we-well.."

Freddy tried to keep a smile on his face, but Lefty continued.

"If you don't understand, I'll tell you why I'm here."

Lefty, quiet as ever, but urgent, pressed closer to Freddy, "I have five children's souls inside me."he said.

"I was created to protect them and to one day unleash them. That is the only reason I was made. This may be the place where that day will happen. I don't do stupid things like moving my mouth or body to noisy music."

There are no emotional ups and downs. He is a machine. Freddy was shocked when his cold right eye stung him.

"I...I wanted to show you something."

With heavy steps, Freddy brought something out from the back of the room. What he held out was a crayon drawing of a child who had come into the store. A black bear with a red hat, bow tie, and the number one star on his chest was holding a microphone and singing happily.

Lefty was a little surprised to see it and couldn't help but stare at it.

"It was newly decorated for today,' Freddy said. The children often draw pictures of us, which they love. They seemed to like your new arrival, too, so I thought I'd show you..."

Lefty looked at Freddy. He smiled bitterly and said, "I'm sorry if I made you feel bad," and turned to leave the room. There were three of Bonnie and the others outside the door, but Freddy disappeared somewhere without a care for them.

"...How long have you been listening?"

Lefty asks them.

"Since: ye have the soul of a child inside ye." Foxy said.

"..."

A heavy silence pervades the room. Chica is worried about Freddy and follows him. Foxy follows suit.

"What now?"

Lefty asks Bonnie, He is staring blankly and not moving, a little suspiciously. Bonnie quietly walked up to Lefty and asked quietly so as not to disturb him,

"How does a children get in you? Did you, pull out theres the head, arms, and other body parts all apart?

"excuse me?"

Lefty couldn't help but yelp at Bonnie's unbelievable idea.

-

"Freddy wanted Lefty to know how much fun it is to sing with everyone and make the kids happy..."

Freddy and Chica sits on stage. Foxy watched them from the curtains of Pirate's Cove.

"I've never seen that painting before. Did you maybe peel it off?"

"Ha ha ha! you know everything. Freddy was so happy to see Lefty in the painting that Freddy just took..."

"You took the liberty!? Nah, You should put it back where you found it."

Chica scolded Freddy lightly.

Freddy said:

"Lefty was so happy when he saw this picture, He was so surprised that he froze! He just doesn't know how to express his emotions!"

"Sigh...I don't know."

"He's a little different from us, but he cares so much about kids. I'm sure he will understand us someday."

He tries his best to convince the reluctant Foxy. He says "Why do ye care so much for him?"

"He look lonely..."

"lonely?"

Foxy and Chica spoke in unison.

Freddy says,

"The atmosphere is also kind of .... It's the same model as mine, so I think it's just my imagination. ...I think he's been alone for a long time."

Although Freddy's words surprised Chica and Foxy, They finally realized that might have felt the same way.

"I'm sure he's just sticking to the program."

Chica said.

"I don't know if it's the souls of the children or what, but as long as he can protect them, that's all that matters."

After a short pause, Foxy speak up, this time calmly.

"He's not very friendly, Me don't like him and he doesn't like us I think."

Chica says,

"But maybe, he have feelings for the children?"

"What kind of?"

"For us, children are something to be entertained, right? But for him, children are something to protect."

"What makes you say that?"

Bonnie, who had finally gathered around, asked to Chica.

"He even said that he would not mind losing his own life for the sake of the children in him."

Hearing Chica's thoughts, Bonnie and Foxy looked at each other. They looked at each other for a moment and then started to talk.

"We may think differently, but I don't think it's impossible for us to understand each other," Bonnie said.

Foxy speakes up reluctantly.

"But we animatronics were born to make children happy. I don't understand why he was so nervous on stage."

"Maybe he was too nervous for his first performance?"

"Maybe he wasn't made to perform?"

"No, of course not. He's got a microphone."

The three seemed to be concerned about Lefty in their own way.

Freddy was a little relieved to see his friends.

"Freddy wonders why Lefty has children's souls," he said.

"Maybe he ate them."

"Nooo! No way!"
