Unforgotten Love

Chapter-11

Annika's pov:

My eyes snapped towards him when I heard that sentence, and the ground cracked under my feet. The man I love the most and the man I loved unconditionally. He was the only man I loved till now, and he called me desperate. That sentence shattered me into pieces. And then,Kabir spoke
"What are you saying, Shivansh??? Are you even listening to yourself?? You know Annika very well, you know she can't do such a thing...."
"No, I don't know her. I wish I never knew her,and by the way, what do you mean she can't do such a thing? She is a grown-up woman, she has needs and she was fulfilling it. That's it, it is just that the location she has chosen was not that appropriate." Shivansh said in a normal tone as if it didn't matter to him at all, that how I would feel after listening such words from his mouth. His words pricked my heart. It broke me that my Shiv spoke such thing and didn't trust me. He said this as if he I am stranger to him.

"Tera dimaag toh thik hai, jo bhi mann mein aa raha hai bole jaa raha, aur tujhe lag raha ki she was fulfilling her needs par uski haalat toh dekh, her disheveled hair, her tears don't you see that??" Kabir snapped at him,
[Is your mind alright? Whatever is coming in your mind, you are spatting, and you feel that he was fulfilling her needs but look at her condition]
"Kabir..her state is fulling revealing what she was doing and how pleasurable that was.....Am i right???" He said and asked the last sentence while looking at me, which broke my soul. He tainted my love by saying this.

After hearing his harsh comments, i knew we had misunderstanding and lot of arguments which he saw from his naked eyes and again he believed what he saw rather than analysing the situation so not piled up our misunderstandings, I accumulated some courage and spoke
"Jaise tumhe lag raha hai waisa kuch nhi hai. Instead, he was harassing me and forcing himself on me." [ It's nothing as it seems to you] Now I have told him the reason I think his misunderstanding must be cleared. But suddenly that man spoke
"Baby, you don't have to hide anything to anyone now, so tell them that you love me." Me and Kabir's eyes snapped towards him. We were shocked as we knew this was a lie. But Shivansh was normal as before.

"And you have only told me to meet you after your meeting, then why are you hiding and saying that I forced you or harassed you???" He said innocently as if nothing happened without my consent. I wanted to scream and tell everyone that it's not true, but I had no energy to speak anything in my defense after what has happened, a lump formed inside my throat because of which I couldn't speak. I was just standing numbingly listening to poisonous words from the person who was cure to my pain, but today, he has become the deepest wound.Kabir yelled
"What the fuck did you say?? Who gave the money to speak that shit....huhhh..."

"He is just speaking the truth Kabir, tell your friend to accept that and why is she hiding all this? If she likes him then she should have guts to accept that." Aarohi said in between. That man has just tainted my body, but the man I love speaking such harsh words and listening to accusations have tainted my love for him.
"And you, Mr.Aarohi Mittal just shut the fuck up,I know what is the truth, and what is a lie so don't interfere" Kabir yelled
"And you motherfucker if you didn't spilt the truth, I will torture you till the death....I swear." Kabir yelled again while holding his collar

"I am not lying, I am just speaking the truth you can check messages in my phone." That man said while showing his phone. So Kabir took his phone from his hand saw it and gasped
"See, I told you that your so-called friend is lying, she is a liar,"Aarohi said nonchalantly and Shivansh was standing listening to the accusations silently like i was nothing to him words tasted bitter to my heart and but his silence bleed my heart uncontrollable. Hearing all this, a sobbed escaped from my lips.

"Annika.....shhh...don't cry, I believe you please..... don't cry.....it hurts to see you like that.....please Annika." Kabir tried to calm me down by side hugging me, but little did he[Kabir] know I was shattering after each sentence. But that man whom I love didn't speak a word for me, the man who can't bear a word against me was listening to such accusations.
"See, I know that you didn't text him or know him. So don't cry.....hmmm..." Kabir said, but my sobs became more heavy, and it became difficult to breathe. The air around me became thick, that it was suffocating me to the core. But my world destroyed after the sentence I heard
"That love bites on your neck justifies how pleasurable it was...."He was listening to all the accusations silently that hurt me, but lines he spoke turned into bullets and injured my heart very deeply.

"Shut the fuck up!!! Or else before killing this man I will kill you[Shivansh].," Kabir yelled while I was crying silently. Tears were just flowing, but no voice came out after listening to such venom.

"You will make us silent, but how will you deal with society that will make her life hell." Aarohi said angrily
"They don't spare a woman who randomly sleeps with a man." Aarohi added each and every word deliberately, which made me question my dignity, and a thought that my body has become impure.
" I will make every damn person on the earth silent who will question her dignity. Do you get that?" Kabir shouted
"Baby, why are you crying? I know we had an argument, but I came to rectify it. Why are you making such a fuss?" That man said in between.
And kabir turned and said angrily
"YOU STOP CALLING HER BABY SHE IS NOT YOUR BABY. IF YOU CALL HER AGAIN BY THAT NAME,I WILL SLICE YOUR THROAT!!!" Kabir said while threatening him.
In this all chaos, I was a sobbing mess, but my tears didn't affect him[Shivansh]. His eyes didn't soften for a bit. He stayed silent and listened to all venomous words that were spoken against me.
"Aur Annika tujhe inn logon ki baat sunne ki koi zarurat nhi.....tujhe pata tu sahi hai,mujhe pata hai tu sahi hai then none of them matters." Kabir cooed me with his words, but I was already shattered. Nothing in this world can heal my wounds and cure my unbearable pain.
[And Annika, you don't have to listen to these people......you know that you are right, I know you are right, then none of them matters.]

This was already causing me a breakdown, but Aarohi spoke to add fuel to this argument
"This crocodile tears won't work, you should think it before whoring around."
To which Kabir left me and walked towards Aarohi angrily but before he could do something Shivansh came in between and held his hand which he was going to use to grab Aarohi's throat.
"Enough!!!! Are you going to stoop so low and harm a woman? And Aarohi, that's enough. You can't comment on someone's dignity that's wrong." Shivansh said while holding Kabir's hand.
"And take her. Her state is not right." He [Shivansh] said while looking down not being able to make an eye contact. After ruining me and tormenting me, he[Shivansh] said this words. After which, Kabir held me, and we proceeded to leave.I was devastated by today's incident. It shook me completely. I left no words to speak.
But more was waiting for me. When we were out of the cabin, there was a huge crowd of employees standing there. I was already devastated by this incident, and seeing the crowd, I felt nauseous and suffocating. But when no one trusted me, there was this person who fought with every single person in the room. My best friend KABIR
"WHAT!!! There is no show going on here. Back to your work, NOW!!!"Suddenly, Kabir growled, making them shiver and holding me firmly. The crowd started mumbling something, which was not clear, and neither I was in the state to hear that.

Avoiding the crowd, we made our way towards the exit of the office. After we walked towards our car, there were constant thoughts running in my mind. Everything was going well till the meeting and suddenly my life turned 360 degrees in this 1 hour. Aarohi's words rang in my head. It made me feel disgusted.
After we set inside the car, Aarohi's words started haunting that were about my dignity
"Am I impure? Am I a whore? Am I not loveable?" My mind was ingulfed in these thoughts when Kabir asked
"Do you want to drink some water?" And passed me the bottle to which I denied. But Kabir again said
"Annika, I told you not to run after him. See what he did today? The person whom you love the most has accused you of being desperate.
All I was able to say him

"Whom you love the most breaks you the most,"
