Yashiro was yapping about true love and I was thinking about wmy Hanako-kun kissed me it was very confusing I was convinced he didn't see me more than a servant so I asked Violet about it
"Violet can I ask a hypothetical question?" I ask her.
"Does this have something to do with you?" She asked
"What!? Me!? No i said it was hypothetical so like I was saying you beta if a boy kissed a girl what would that mean?" I asked her
"So I believe that boy has a crush on that girl." I nodded
"But anyways have you seen a bunch of couples cropping into the school?" Violet asked
"Oh yeah why?" I said tilting my head.
"Well if that hypothetical boy and girl liked each other they would confess their love under that tree its called the confession tree." She pointed to the tree
"So if that boy liked that girl he would confess his love for her under that tree?" I asked
"Exactly. So if that boy and girl liked each other they would go confess their love down over that Confession Tree." She said
"Okay that's pretty cool I guess. Thanks Violet." I say and got up
•*•*•time skip to after school*•*•*
"Hey N/N will you go to the big tree in the practice garden with me tomorrow after school?" I look at him with a side eye the fully looked at him
"The confession tree?" I asked him hoping surely they're was another huge tree in the practice garden.
"Oh you know about it thanks you saved me from explaining it." Oh no he was serious.
"So I'll see you tomorrow." He left. I was on the verge of tears I didn't know a thing about boys. So the next day I was just letting my anxiety take over then I saw Violet and ran over to her.
"Violet! I need your help Hanako told me to meet him under the Confession Tree." Tears were spilling out of my eyes.
"Ew. That perv told him to meet you there?" She said
"Y-you got to help me please?" I asked almost sobbing.
"Alright fine just be yourself and don't get your hopes up. There happy?" She said. I nodded wiping my tears.
"Good now let me get to class." She walks to her class

I walked to the Tree and was red as a tomato seeing Hanako-kun there under the tree I walked over to him
"Hanako-kun?" I ask.
"Oh you made it." He said
"I guess I'll just get right to it." Hanako said clamping his hands onto my shoulders.
"Y/N I love you will you go out with me!?" He looked at the ground he looked red I was absolutely stunned this was really happening..
"Psst Y/N what are you doing say no." Hanako whispered. I should've known he didn't mean it was I really stupid to fall for that. "
Huh um what? Oh im sorry.." I say then a booming voice says
"Oh my... We can't have that. If someone confesses their love to you, its most logical to accept it. Love does lead to happiness and you refuse? Astonishing come here then I shall help you find true love." The tree said
"Ew get this creepy tree away from me!" I said
"HOW RUDE!!!" The tree said. And then his tree branches were about to attack me but then a big bubble protects me and
"wha..?" I say
"That's a protection spell!" Hanako said and cut the tree in half.
"Woah he tree turned into a smol broccoli." I say amazed.
"Yeah its a Kodama if some one confesses their love under that tree then the tree grow supernaturally but uh yeah thars why I had you to help!" He said.
"Oh yeah totally.." I start walking to the gate and talking in my head. Well hanako was really never my type and I can't believe I had my head up for him.. Hanako was muttering about a new rumor for the tree.
"What do you think N/N? N/N? Oh I get it your upset that it wasn't a real confession." Tears were spilling out my eyes and I was sobbing quietly.
"I hate you Hanako! You could've at least told me it was fake!" I sobbed my eyes out.
"Im going home! I say getting close to the gate.
"Wait!" Hanako-kun said
"Why? What for?" He took his hat off and tugged my arm
"Im sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry." When he took off his hat he looked like a normal boy but then I realized I've been saying he's my friend but I barely knew anything about him. And I know I shouldn't be nosy but it wouldn't hurt to know his actual name, where he used to live, his favorite food and well.. you know but I can't get it out of my mind its not creepy I just wanna know. He suddenly pulled me into a hug and he said
"Stay here after you stop crying." That's when I felt that I wanna know him more.
