"Truths Unfolding"

Samuel POV

A dark atmosphere descended upon my sight accompanied wildly by an unsettling noise that pierced into my ears. Perhaps, this might have been the reason why I began to feel frightened. Nevertheless, I persisted in trying to escape through what I believed to be an abandoned tunnel.

Striving to seek my way out of the shadows by pursuing the flickering light that seemed to be leading the way out.

Albeit of what I do, I'm stuck in a time loop—returning to the same place countless times.

I just held onto my knees because I could feel them trembling from exhaustion as if they could give up at any time, I gasped and looked around as I suddenly found myself on a familiar road but I couldn't quite figure out where I saw it.

Since I was alone in this place and only the lights were illuminating the path. Not far away, I could see a car heading fast in the direction on where I am.

I immediately take a step because I was in the middle of the street, but I froze when I realized that my feet are not responding to my wishes.

The car is now closer to me. "No... don't!" I exclaimed, I could hear its brakes before I was completely thrown on the ground due to its strong impact.

I lay down on the road while the blood was pouring out from my head, at that time my vision was blurred and my hearing was swallowed in silence.

My heart palpating fast as I awoke from my slumber, "Thank goodness it was just a nightmare." I said after realizing it was all a dreadful dream.

I hugged myself tightly-quickly glanced at the clock on my room's wall, "Saturday, 15:28 (3:28AM)" When I saw the time I sighed deeply.

The vividness of what happened five days ago unexpectedly emerged in my mind as I laid down again and sensed the peace of my chamber.

Flashbacks...

Ms. Ong suddenly grabbed my attention by snapping her finger when I was lost in contemplation.

"We're discussing a serious issue here Mr. Park." She stated, after perceiving from my gestures that I was not paying attention.

With concern, Ms. Kim asked. "Are you okay? you don't look well."

I simply nodded in response before turning to face the other teachers who were listening in the detention room including Jay who seemed to be staring at me nonstop, wanting to go at any moment.

"So, where are we again?" I replied.

I lost my mind thinking about the pile of scattered pictures along with a note I found in my desk awhile ago.

To be honest, I'm baffled on why I'm receiving death threats from stranger.

Before I moved from Seoul to the City of Incheon, I never expected to be followed by that mysterious person. As a result even though I had planned ahead of time, an innocent people were still affected by this incident.

I was feeling uneasy due to the sense of danger, I had believed that I had finally found the place that would grant me redemption.
But based on what I've seen, my desire appears obscure as though it were merely a whim.

In certain instances, I even went to the police station to report that I'm receiving death threats. However, they turned me down because of my father's notoriety.
