As the morning sun rose into the sky marking the start of a new day here in New Orleans inside the plantation house Hayley and Niklaus laid with blissful smiles on their faces due to the activities that kept them awake all night long.

Niklaus POV:
As Hayley laid here in bed with her head lying on my chest I couldn't help but let a small smile grace my lips as I listened to my child's heartbeat.
"Hayley?" I called causing Hayley to lifted head and look at me while I combed my fingers through her hair.
"I made you a promise once that I wouldn't let my darker parts cause too much trouble, but in order to do what the witches want I may have to let them out." I said as Hayley sat on my lap and caressed my cheek.

"Niklaus I trust you with my life, with our child's life. So do what you have to do, but make sure you come back home to us." Hayley said as I smiled before I sat up and wrapped my arms around her waist as I kissed her making Hayley moan while she looped her arms around my neck pressing herself against me.
"You came here looking for your family Hayley, so I swear to help in anyway I can." I promised making Hayley smile before we both got up letting me see Hayley's growing belly.
"Nik." Hayley said as we got dressed before I turned to her and saw her smiling at me.
"I love you." Hayley stated making my smile brighten before I dashed at her and smashed my lips against hers before I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a jewelry box.
