I spent the night at Leahyah's house. Just to make sure my papá was secure about my arrangement, I sent my papá a "GoodNight" text and explained to him where I was. It took much explaining to for him to fully understand my location but once he was sure that I was at Leahyah's place he agreed. Old people.

The whole night, Aaleahyah and I talked about our day and Jawayne of course, because she thinks, he is 'Thirsty'.

In other words, desperate.

She laughed to majority of my theories about him which eventually lead to us passing out on the floor -asleep.

-

I woke up first, full course of emotions running through my body after the dream I just had. I managed to drag myself to the bathroom sink, where I stood and stared at the mirror.

On a usual day, I would wake up with a wide smile on my face but due to my nightmare, nothing near a smile was forming on my face. In fact, several tears burned to be released but I just couldn't. My mom wouldn't want me crying. I tried my best to hold it all together but in the process, a tear slithered down my cheek, gliding it's way to my chin. I quickly wiped it as I heard Leahyah's voice coming from the room.

"Did we sleep on the f-." she started as I plastered a bogus wide toothy grin on my face to be seen.
"-I guess so." I interrupted, making it best believable of interest in this conversation.

She smiled and turned on her heels, heading in the direction of her closet.

So much for a bestfriend who notices when you've been trying to hold in cries.

I sighed and began my morning process for school. I freshened up using some stuff from Leahyah and because I had 3 changes of clothing, pajamas, and a bit of hygiene stuff at her home, I didn't have a problem getting ready.

Afterwards, I ambled to Leahyah's closet to dress myself. I chose to wear a black crop top, white jean
shorts, with my black Chuck Taylor's, just clothes I left at her house from the last time was there.
I borrowed a pair of black bow earrings and as usual, I wore my hair in poofy curls.

Gracefully, I strolled out of her closet with a true grin plastered on this time.

"Wow girl. You look great for someone who spent the night." she complemented, while pinning her necklace around her neck. I smiled but it quickly faded when I saw it was a copy of the necklace I gave her that used to be my mother's.

To be honest, I didn't know what was going on with me today. I couldn't seem to get rid of the horrific memory that has been haunting for nine years.
I wanted it to go away so badly. Whenever I got to my zenith of happiness, it would just return taunting with everything I did.

"Thank you." I replied saying nothing more , walking away to the mirror that was back in the closet.

I gave myself a fast look in the mirror and after Leahyah finished, we marched down the hall to Aaron's room.

Aaron never really locked his room door, so without any hesitation we busted through the door which happened to be bad idea.

"What the fuçk?" he yelled at the top off his lungs. He jumped in fear, rapidly used a shirt to cover his junk after it was already exploited for us to see.

Leahyah and I bursted into laughter and this lightened my mood. She covered her eyes, from the sight in front of us. I didn't bother doing the same because I saw his small friend before, by accident of course.
