From the Diary
Today I saw our new neighbours shifting. I thought it's going to be 2-3 people but there are lots of them. I think they live jointly. I saw a girl who is of the same age as I and I think she must be the one with whom I need to do the friendship. I also saw a handsome man. He was wearing all black cloth. He was tall, broad, and fair. He had perfect trimmed beard. He looked as of he is a leader of the gangsters. I couldn't see him closely because I was peeping through the windows but I don't know why I felt curious looking at him. I want to get to know him. Also today is the last day of my summer vacation. From tomorrow my college is reopening and I need to do all the pending works.
After writing her diary, Aheli went to do other pending work.
On the other hand Shekhawat's whole family moved in with a lot of langguage. They quickly moved in and were sad about all the shifting thing.
Before going in Arnav's Father stopped Arnav and his siblings and said
"Don't create any more trouble. I want you all to keep a low profile. Do not mix yourself with other people and only talk to people when necessary. Understood?"
Arnav smirked and said
"Do you think I need your advice on what I should do or not? I am not a child I can manage my business."
He rudely talked to him and went inside
When he got inside he suddenly stopped his steps and took looked at the place.
I will never forget what happened here! I will never forgive those who destroyed my childhood
He said that to himself and went inside
*************************************** Next day
Aheli woke up early, did all the household chores and went to the college. There she met Shinu who is her bestfriend since childhood.
Shinu informed her that today new students from the PHD department will join them and some of them will also take their classes.
Shinu was excited to meet new people but Aheli mind was struck at his neighbour whom she didn't even saw properly.
Looking at Aheli all lost in her thoughts Shiny said
"Hey, Where are you lost haa?"
Aheli replied
"Yesterday our new neighbours moved in'
"Neighbours? Are you talking about that abandoned mansion?"
"Yes. Apparantly it was not abandoned"
"Okay.. tell me what happened?"
Aheli's eyes' Sparkled and in excitement she said
"Yesterday our neighbours moved in. There was a boy with them. He was tall, broad, and was very handsome. I have never seen someone as handsome as him. I don't know why but since I saw him I can't get my mind off him. It feels as if he is stuck in my mind."
"If that's the case then why don't you meet him?"
"No...no.... I can't."
"Why?"
"They seemed very rich and he was not alone. His family is really big and they seemed very powerful".
"So what? Do rich people don't talk"?
"No, Shinu. I didn't mean that I just feel that he is out of my league. Also I have other plans"
"What plans"?
"You know right that since childhood I wanted to explore that mansion and I wanted to look inside it. I was always curious about it. I heard that a girl of our age will move in and yesterday I saw her too. I am thinking of having a friendship with her and then I will make an excuse to visit the mansion."
"And then you will talk to that boy? Right?"
"No... I will not! I will leave in 2 months. There's no point in talking to him and all. I don't want to get myself involved in new situations and new people".
The bell rang and shinu and Aheli went to their classroom
They sat on the. 3rd row and their Psychology professor came.
All of them greeted him and he greeted them back then he said
"Students, I am happy to inform all of you about a new member that will be joining us from today. He is a gold medalist in shooting, a gold medalist in academics, he has got many prizes. He will be taking classes of the students who come under the top 15 students from Psychological department. He will not only help you for your theory sessions but also with your college, practicals etc. So without any delay I will call him" .
The professor left and all of them started gossiping about them
Shinu said
"Gold medalist Haan... He must be a nerd."
Aheli said
"Don't say that, shinu."
"Now that you will be learning under him you are taking his side".
"No.. I am not and it's still not decided who is going to be under him."
"Comeon Aheli. You come 1st in all the years and we all know that you are definitely going to be on that list".
Suddenly a silence prevailed in the room and both Aheli and Shinu looked towards the door. From the door a handsome man came in. All of their mouth widened looking at him.
Aheli felt a sudden shiver and she recognised him immediately. He is the same man
He is his neighbour. She was surprised to see him here
On the other hand Arnav came in and stood in front of the students. He took a glance at the students and said
"Good morning students, I am Arnav Singh Shekhawat and I will be taking some of your psychology classes."
The whole class shouted as if they have won a lottery.
Aheli was silent and was still in shock. Arnav looked at students who were shouting and suddenly his eyes went on Aheli who was sitting silently and was looking at him surprisingly.
