➨THE CHAOS OVER THE WEEK AND THE SHADE BEING THROWN around social media had you a bit on guard.
you didn't know how sana was going to react when she sees you. especially since she was talking heavily about you online and around school.
you couldn't really understand why she was acting the way she did. kuroo and her were broken up, it's not like you and kuroo were officially together.
but of course, kuroo tetsuro was a damn people's pleaser. so anything sana told him to do, he did it. he regretted some the things he did for her but some were just to keep her happy. and he loved the feeling of that. her happy and no one else.
so you couldn't help but when seeing she was posting kuroo and acting like they were together, of course you laughed about it. because kuroo gave you so many signs.
unfortunately you thought that was the case but it wasn't. he was still very confused, he said he wanted to move on but still was so into sana at the same time which kinda of annoyed you.
"so what your saying is that you can't hang out with me anymore.. hm cool" you nodded while putting your books in your locker.
"y/n i'm sorry.. it's just the whole thing with me and sana.. yeah.." he scratched the back of his head.
"well kuroo.. that's fine but I just don't understand why you let her treat you like shit.." you shook your head in disappointment.
"wait y/n I-" he tried to reach for you but you swung your arm away.
"goodbye kuroo, see you in practice" you sighed and started walking to class, unfortunately you had kuroo in the class which made it worse.
LATER ON AT PRACTICE.
"moto, it was completely humiliating, how could he do this to me and then get back together with her?!" you yelled, yamamoto feeling bad for you. "he must be stuck on her, y/n. but it doesn't give it an excuse to blow you off like that" he sighed.
"he's a fucking dog, and I was blinded to see it." you crossed your arms in frustration. it wasn't fair how he blew you off just because Sana was posting him. and of course kuroo fell for it.
"gather around everyone!" coach nekomata said, motioning the team to go towards them. you took your seat next to the two coaches getting a clear view of all the boys. you didn't make eye contact with kuroo, but you knew he was staring at you. you could feel it.
"we're holding another training camp, along with the girls volleyball team. Karasuno and Fukordani will be joining us for a full week before the games!" you sighed when coach nekomata mentioned the girls volleyball team was going to be there.
of course Sana and Akari were going to be there since they were also apart of the girls volleyball team. what a great fucking way to start off the week.
after coach nekomata was done, he let the boys practice on what they needed to improve so you saw lev and yaku working on receives, since lev sucked at the them.
"still can't even do one receive huh?" you crossed your arms looking at lev who was struggling. "can you shut the fuck up?" lev rolled his eyes. "no my mouth was meant for talking even for talking shit" you smiled sweetly at him, messing with him.
yaku bursted laughing, making lev groan and keep working on his receives. "how's my favorite manager in the world?" yaku teased, giving you a nudge on the shoulder.
"i'm fine" you nodded. "bullshit, your never this quiet, y/n. so what's really going on?" yaku was right, as much as you didn't want it to be true, it was. you were never this quiet. you just couldn't get over the fact of kuroo blowing you off like that.
"speak of the devil" you said lowly and clearing your throat as kuroo came to join you and yaku. "hey yaku, hey y/n" kuroo said with that damn smirk on his face.
"hey kuroo" yaku replied but noticed you didn't say anything. "cmon y/n talk to me" kuroo begged like a 5 year old. "you know you can't ignore me" he said.
you were beyond annoyed with him already. "y/n, stop acting like this, i'm sorry okay?" he sighed. "do you hear that yaku?" you pointed to your ear.
"huh what do you mean?" kuroo looked confused. "I don't talk little bitch.. sorry" you looked at him up and down before leaving. "then why did you answer me right now?.." he said nonchalantly. "kuroo.. shut the fuck up" you said while yaku and lev were laughing in the background.
"what?, y/n I can't read your fucking mind and what your thinking. I didn't do anything to you." he grabbed your wrist to pull you closer to him, which you liked.
"how the fuck would you feel if the person you like was giving you signals.. and then blew you off for another person." you whispered to him, his face dropped down to a realization. he knew he hurt you.
"you let sana talk all this shit about me and then the following day you wanna go with her after doing all those things with me at the training camp." you shook your head in disappointment.
"get the fuck over it, you know I feel about Sana. you'll never be top tier like her baby" he caressed your cheek. you felt your heart hurt by his words. you didn't know how much they were going to affect you later on.
you scoffed and pushed him away. "fucking asshole" you grunted as kuroo still got a grip of your wrist. "get off of me!" you yelled. yaku and lev ran toward the both of you, trying to break you both apart but couldn't. kuroo's grip was so tight you were sure that it was going to leave you bruises.
yamamoto came rushing and pushes kuroo, making him fall to the floor, "she said get off of her." he said leaning down to his level. yamamoto went over to you, grabbing your wrist and looking at them. kuroo looked at you and scoffed while chuckling. "I hope you know she's better than you." kuroo then walked away leaving you in tears.
"shhh mama, don't cry" yamamoto wiped your tears and caressed your cheek. yaku and lev came over to you, giving you a side hug. "i'm sorry y/n" lev rubbed your back. "it's okay" you said while sniffling.
you couldn't believe the man you had a crush on would treat you like this. it was mind blowing to you. something inside of you couldn't really make you hate him. maybe he only acted like this because he was trying to impress Sana. all these excuses just because you couldn't accept it.
but one things for sure she could never be better than you
