Thought I'd do something different as opposed to all the other Johnny fics that are probably about to appear :)
The story is set in an AU timeline where the Thanos snap happened, however it was never reversed. As a result of this, no superheros have been seen in years, and Johnny Storm is just one of them - now leading a very different life to the one that he was used to.
Cassandra, or just Cassie, is a reporter simply trying to navigate through life - and it becomes all the most interesting when she is saved by a man who she never thought that she would see again. Except he doesn't recognise her...
This story will be an age gap romance. I'm placing Johnny in his early forties, and Cassie in her late twenties.
RDJ will also be making an appearance as AU Dr Doom, just because I can 😉 (Alt timelines are fun).
Anyway, as usual this story will be updated as and when. Hopefully I'll do Johnny some justice!
