The El-kabeer's Family House was starting to get filled up. Aunt Naima was the first to come from Johannesburg together with Amna and Aman, last month I had Ameen and Nadira went there to Johannesburg too, I guess they were missing home it's not nice to just come from another country to another, but it's not an excuse they have to come to the meeting too with their baby I guess the baby girl is almost a year old.

I remember the first time I came for this family meeting i was swept off my foot because of the luxury and how I tried hard to fit in.

Well we all came together from Abuja, Hameedah, Ahmad, Ridwan ,Ameer ,Zarah, Hameedah's Mum, Baba, Mama and the kids.

We retired to our flats and took some rest before it was time to all gather up.

Someone was knocking at our door and I was happy beyond measure seeing a heavy Daihaah knocking.

"Oh My God, Daihaah I missed you"

"Aunty Alina, is now you'll say that you missed me. You refused to attend my wedding, didn't come to visit my house or even contact me on the phone"

"Daihaah, I'm sorry I was so preoccupied. Come in"

"No, we'll catch up later for now I have to go I just couldn't wait to see you and where's that cheeky boy Ameer"

"He's out with his Dad, you'll see him later"

It was time, we were done praying our Maghrib And Isha prayer and we started getting ready. Fay and Ameer were ready and as soon as I was done we left for the main house together with Azeez.

What a scenery!

I first met Aunty Rukayya, (Daihaah's Mum) together with her heavenly pregnant daughter. Uncle Aliyu was also present together with his twin son's Mus'ain And Murad and his wife.

I greeted the elders and took my seat when Aman came in with her daughter, her daughter is almost the same age with Ameer's Son almost two years . She has been wanting to give birth for years now and lastly they had to go for artificial operation in the U.S where the baby is fertilized with the sperm and ova and then inserted into the woman's womb.

Amna was on her tail with Mukhtar, her son that's almost same age with little fay and then Aunt Naima the eldest.

Ameer came in with his wife and this is her first time here with their son. Ameen And Nadira also walked in with their baby daughter that's almost a year old.

Everyone was present Baba, Mama , Ahmad And Ridwan came in last.

We exchanged pleasantries and started eating, I don't know why we always have to eat first before the meeting.

"It's nice to see everyone here again, I know you were all overwhelmed at the sudden announcement of a meeting when it's not the usual time to come here but we've noticed that we are drifting apart and as a family we have to tackle it " Aunt Naima started.

"You have to know the El-kabeer blood and name is a bond that binds us all together, so please do well to be family and be your brother's keeper because tomorrow I might not be here , your aunt's and uncles won't be here then you'll be the eldest people of the family so please "

And everyone nodded.

"Okay then" She said and cleaned her mouth before she stood up from the dining table and left, Ofcourse all the other elders left.
